We went to the Frankfurt airport in the morning to pick Gurudeva up.
\nUnfortunately we got stuck in a traffic jam, so we had to call him and tell him
\nwe were late. He was already waiting outside when we came. He was happy and
\npeaceful as always and said he hadn\u00b4t minded waiting, since that had given him
\neven more time to chant.<\/span><\/p>\n

When we came home Gurudeva took some rest, did his email etc. Later we went
\nfor a walk. It is quite difficult to keep up with Gurudeva and chant at the same
\ntime. He is walking very fast. We went to a place where there is a nice lake
\nwhere we usually go to chant. I wanted to show Gurudeva how our (vegetarian) dog
\nNrsimha swims, so I threw in something in the water and Nrsimha immediately
\ndove in and started swimming. Gurudeva didn\u00b4t seem so impressed by Nrsimha\u00b4s
\nswimming as I was, though. As Nrsimha came out of the water, Gurudeva exclaimed:
\n“Watch out, he\u00b4s gonna shake himself”! and so we jumped away to the side not to
\nget wet. It was really funny.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the late afternoon, six of our friends from different places came to visit.
\nThey felt as if they already knew Gurudeva since we have been telling them so
\nmuch about him. And we have told Gurudeva about them as well, so everyone was
\nvery happy to finally meet each other. I had planned to make pizza, but it was
\nEkadashi so it was not possible. Everyone took prasadam together and were
\nspeaking a lot about different things, about ISKCON and Krishna consciousness etc.
\nIt was a very nice atmosphere, like a family. The devotees were very impressed
\nby Gurudeva and he also liked the devotees that had come very much and said that
\nthey are very special. In the evening we sang bhajans, and it was really nice. We
\nhad only karatals and harmonium, so Bh. Zak went to the kitchen to get a pot
\nwhich he used as a drum. As we were singing “Sita Ram, Sita Ram…”, it got sooo
\nintense at one point, and for a short moment my mind wandered off to our
\nneighbours, who are unfortunately everything else but favourable to KC. But then
\nI forgot about them, we were just singing and singing… Jay Sri Ram! Jay Srila
\nGurudeva!<\/span><\/p>\n

The next moring Ravindra Svarupa prabhu and his wife came to visit to have a
\nmeeting about a problematic project we have here. They are very, very nice and
\nfriendly and warm. Gurudeva was also happy to get some time together with
\nRavindra Svarupa prabhu, since they very rarely get time to really associate and
\nspeak when they meet. Gurudeva was supposed to take the night train to Denmark
\nand before he left, Cakravarty prabhu and his wife came by and were also very
\nhappy to meet Gurudeva.<\/span><\/p>\n

As we were packing to leave for the train station I was feeling very sad that
\nGurudeva was leaving. As a comfort he gave me a pair of his socks. I was
\nwondering if he actually wasn\u00b4t going to need these socks on his trip. Gurudeva
\nanswered: “Oh, don\u00b4t worry. Everyone always gives me socks!”<\/span><\/p>\n

We went to the station and before the train left he said “Don\u00b4t worry.
\nEverything will be fine. I am always there with you in spirit”. He left for
\nDenmark and was then going to Finland to perform a marriage ceremony for two of
\nhis disciples. So, we are now eagerly waiting for him to come back and bless us
\nwith another ecstatic, inspiring visit. Srila Gurudeva ki jay!!!!!<\/span><\/p>\n
