So Lord Chaitanya came too and sat in the shoe room. But the Mayavadis were amazed at His humility and effulgence so Prakashananda Saraswati invited Lord Chaitanya to the eating room. And in a very astonishing way Lord Chaitanya talked about the Vedas and made the Mayavadis into devotees.
Lord Chaitanya is so cool He made Mayavadis into pure devotees.

The Advent of Lord Chaitanya
Auspicious things were happening all over Nadia. Advaita Acharya prayed for Krishna to appear and thus the moon of Navadwip was being born. He chose to be born on the lunar eclipse because everybody chants Hare Krishna on that day. Jagannatha Misra and Saci Mata were jubilant. Presents such as jewels, ornaments, and clothing were pouring in.
And now just see what Lord Chaitanya has done! He has spread Krishna consciousness all over the world. Jai Chaitanya Mahaprabhu!!!!!!!

Lord Chaitanya’s Childhood Pastimes
All of Nimai’s childhood pastimes are wonderful. On one occasion, little Nimai stole sweet-rice from a bramana three times. The last time He stole sweet-rice He also showed His Krishna form. On another occasion, little Nimai ate dirt and when His mother saw what He was doing she told Him not to eat dirt. But then, Nimai said that everything is dirt. His mother then said that a clay pot can hold water but if water goes on mud it’ll be useless. So Nimai didn’t eat dirt. Another time, little Nimai showed his foot prints and Nilambara Chakravarti said that He is God.
Just see!!! When you first look at Nimai you might think that he is a normal little boy, but when you see what He does you know that He is God.

Lord Chaitanya’s Pauganda Lila
Nimai was expert at everything. Every time there was a test on a school subject Nimai got a better score than the other students, even though he was a neophyte. When Visvarupa (Jagannath Misra and Saci Mata’s oldest son) was grown up, his mother and father talked about him getting married. Hearing this, Visvarupa ran away from home. Then one time Nimai offered betel nut to Vishnu and then ate it. Betel nut acts as an intoxicant, so Nimai fell unconscious and woke up to tell His parents something. He said, “Visvarupa took me away and told me to take sannyasa, but then I said that I have a very poor mother and father so I have to take care of them. Also I wouldn’t be a good sannyasi.”
One thing I just learned is don’t copy everything that Lord Chaitanya does.

The Pastimes of Lord Chaitanya between his childhood and youth
Nimai is so smart. When He was eleven, He became a teacher called Nimai Pandit. In a few years, He got married to Laksmidevi. Because Nimai went to Gaya, His wife was bitten by the snake of separation and thus passed away to the spiritual world. Hearing this, Nimai Pandit went back to Navadwip to console His mother.
One day, on the bank of the Ganges, Keshava Kashmiri came to see who had more knowledge. Thus he and Nimai had a debate and Keshava Kashmiri realized that Nimai Pandit had more knowledge. So they both went back home, and that same night Keshava Kashmiri had a dream that Nimai Pandit was actually God. So the next day he surrendered to Nimai.
How can you tell that Lord Chaitanya is God? He defeated someone who is undefeatable.

Pastimes of Lord Chaitanya in his youth
The Lord went to Gaya, where he got initiated by Isvara Puri. One day he was doing kirtan with his devotees and they all got tired. So He planted a mango seed and immediately a mango tree grew. But it wasn’t just any ordinary mango tree. The fruits didn’t have any seed or skin. One mango would fill anyone’s belly, and, they had the sweetest taste. Another day, Lord Chaitanya adopted the mood of lord Nrisimhadeva and went into the streets roaring, just like lord Nrisimhadeva, and scared everyone out of the streets. When he saw that he scared everyone, he stopped and went home.
He can show His forms of Krishna, but no one else can.

The Lord Defeats the Kazi
One time Nimai was like a Harinama Army Commander. Once, some citizens complained to the Kazi saying that devotees were singing and dancing too much and that he should stop them. So the Kazi went to a devotee’s house and, seeing that they were doing kirtan, he broke a mrdanga exclaiming,” If any devotees chant again they will be forced to become a Muslim!!!”
The devotees were frightened and stopped doing kirtan. When Nimai found out, he ordered, “Tonight we are going to have a great kirtan going to the Kazi’s house.” That same night the devotees had a wonderful kirtan. Finally they arrived at the Kazi’s house and they began tearing up his garden. The Kazi finally came out of his home and after arguing with Nimai, surrendered to Him.
It’s ok to break the law in order to chant Hare Krsna.

Lord Caitanya Takes Sannyasa
The Lord was always absorbed in love of Krsna. Once, He was calling out, “Gopi, Gopi!!” At the same time a student came to see Him. The student instructed the Lord that chanting “Gopi, Gopi” wouldn’t do anything. “So stop chanting “Gopi, Gopi” and chant “Krishna, Krishna,” said the student. When the Lord heard this He became very annoyed, and picked up a stick to beat the student. But the student ran away to his friends and told them what had happened. When the other students heard, they started to blaspheme the Lord. Thus, they lost all their knowledge. The Lord then decided to take sannyasa because if He became a sannyasi, everybody would respect Him.
No one should ever blaspheme the Lord. Otherwise they get in big trouble.

Very few people knew that Lord Chaitanya was Radha. Only Svarupa Damodara and Rupa Goswami knew. One day Rupa Goswami wrote a verse that no one knew the meaning of, and then went to the sea to bathe. Lord Chaitanya then came to Rupa Goswami’s house to see him. But seeing only the verse on Rupa Goswami’s roof, He got very ecstatic. When Rupa Goswami came back, Lord Chaitanya slapped him on his cheek and said,” How do you know the meaning of this verse?” Rupa Goswami just smiled.
I wish I could be slapped on the cheek by Lord Chaitanya too.

Lord Chaitanya delivers Rupa Goswami and Sanatana Goswami
Lord Chaitanya is so merciful. He went to Bengal just to deliver Rupa and Sanatana (then known as Dabir Kasa and Sakir Malik). When Dabir Kasa and Sakir Malik heard that Lord Chaitanya was in Bengal, they went to the Lord in disguise begging for mercy. They were saying that in all the three worlds they were the most fallen. After accepting them as His servants, Lord Chaitanya named Dabir Kasa, Rupa Goswami and Sakir Malik, Sanatana Goswami. The rest of the devotees then accepted Rupa and Sanatana as devotees like them, even though Rupa and Sanatana were working for the Muslims.

The Lord Travels throughout India and Returns to Jagannath Puri
Lord Chaitanya thought that if so many people followed Him when He went to Vrindavana, it would be a lot of trouble. So when only two people were awake, He went with them to Vrindavana. When they arrived in Vrindavana, Lord Chaitanya was so ecstatic, that practically every step He took, He was stumbling. After visiting Vrindavana, Lord Chaitanya traveled to other places such as Talavan, Radha Desha, and Gokula. Then He went along with both of his disciples back to Puri. For eighteen years, devotees visited Puri to see the Lord Jaganath and Lord Chaitanya for four months.

But Lord Nityananda decided that Lord Chaitanya should go to Navadwip to his devotees instead. So He told some cowherd boys that when Lord Chaitanya asks them where Vrindavana is, they should show him the way to the Ganges. Thus, the Lord thought that the Ganges was the Yamuna, and dived into the river.
Advaita Acharya then came on a boat and took the two Lords, Lord Chaitanya and Lord Nityananda, to his home to eat. His wife made hundreds of preparations for the Them. And the two Lords ate while they joked with Advaita Acharya.

At Advaita Acharya’s house, Lord Chaitanya said, “This night we will have a wonderful kirtan!” Lord Chaitanya danced so ecstatically that He started laughing, crying, falling onto the ground, and yelling, “Chant some more, chant some more!!!” Lord Nityananda had to follow Lord Chaitanya and hold Him so that the Lord wouldn’t fall down and get hurt. After the kirtan, Lord Chaitanya’s mother, Saci Devi, came to see the Lord. As soon as she saw Him, she kissed Him all over, and said again and again that she missed him so much. After that, they each went back to their own homes. When the older bramana told his family everything, they all got really mad and refused to let her get married to a low cast brahmana. So the younger brahmana went all the way back to the Gopala temple to ask the Gopala Deity to go with Him as a witness. The Gopala Deity was very kind, and He went with the bramana. Thus, the young brahmana got married and lived happily ever after.
Thereafter, Gopala was named, Saksi Gopala, the one who was a witness.

Lord Chaitanya inquired, “Then why does she want to dance at night with Krsna who is not her husband?”
Vyenkata Bhatta replied, “Well according to the sastra, Lord Narayana is an expansion of Lord Krsna. Anyway, why are you asking such questions?”
So for a long time they talked together in that way and finally Vyenkata Bhatta understood that he should worship Krsna instead of worshiping Narayana.

Just then, Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya along with his disciples came to visit the Lord. They all talked to each other very happily. If someone ever wrote a book, song or poem, the Lord would first have Svarupa Damodara look at it to make sure that it wasn’t criticizing Lord Krsna or containing Mayavadi philosophy. If the songs weren’t either of those, Svarupa Damodara would sing or tell them to Lord Chaitanya who would appreciate them very much.
Lord Chaitanya does not accept anything criticizing Lord Krsna. But, if someone writes something praising Krsna with just one drop of love for Him, He accepts it.
