Dear Bir Krishna Maharaj,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet on this auspicious day of your appearance. Just like our spiritual Master His Divine Grace A C Bhaktivedanta Swami, Srila Prabhupada, was Sent to us to take us back home back to Godhead, you also appeared and Empowered by him to help all of us to go back home back to Godhead. Empowerment is qualified inheritance from our spiritual father and ultimately from Lord SriKrishna Who is full of all six opulence’s. They are all transcendental, namely strength, beauty, wisdom, wealth, fame and renunciation. You have accomplished so much in the service of Srila Prabhupada and you are preparing all your disciples in your footsteps. This is only possible by the empowerment of Lord Sri Krishna by the request of Srila Prabhupada. Otherwise, Krishna Shakti Vina Nahi Tar Pravartan.
So all the transcendental opulence’s are invested in you enough toCarry out His mission. You are strong to run around for serving His Cause. You are beautifully effulgent to attract us all towards divinity. Actually your real effulgence is of the highest order in full-realized knowledge of the Absolute Truth. Then, You created a lot of wealth in establishments of Krishna Consciousness and you have a lot of cash in terms of your disciples. Remember! The real Vedic wealth is counted upon how much land and how Many children you have! Your daring attitude is called Virta meaning Chivalrousness, which is fame giving and that, is why your name is Vir Krishna Swami. And lastly your exemplification of renunciation, being a Sanyasi of the highest order is all-attractive. In this way you remind me of Lord Sri Krishna in the capacity enough so I can understand with my tiny brain. All glories to you on this auspicious day.
Hare Krishna!

Dear Bir Krishna Goswami Maharaja,
Pamho. All glories to His Divine Grace. Thank you for all that you
do, and for your persistent dedication to Sila Prabhupada and his movement.
All I can do is offer you cheap lip service, for I am unlike you, bereft of all good qualities. (I can also invite you for dinner now and again…) Your classes are always lively, informative, and entertaining. Your glance
is always kind and merciful. Thank you for tolerating this dog for all these years. Please bestow upon me whatever mercy you can so that I may become a more solid devotee like you. Did I ever mention how impressed I am with how you retain so much detailed knowledge of the stories and philosophy you read in Prabhupada’s books? Persons with your depth of knowledge are most valued in human society. You are an unsung hero, and it is a pleasure and great honor to know you and associate with you. Maybe one day I can do something to please you….but please don’t hold your breath.
Your fallen godbrother,
Drumila Dasa

Dear Bir Krsna Swami,
Please accept my humble obeisances on this occasion of your Vyasa Puja. All glories to your ever increasing and never ceasing preaching service unto Srila Prabhupada’s mission.
I am deeply grateful that you founded the New Goloka temple over twenty years ago. It is glorious to create such a facility, but even more glorious to maintain it for all these years. As you purchased the land, built the temple with your brow and brawn, installed Sri Sri Radha Golokananda and worshiped Them, I wonder if you imagined the magnitude of such a project. Since that time hundreds of devotees have found genuine shelter here at New Goloka. You have been especially generous with our second generation children and now their many children. You continue to encourage the youth and are very tolerant of their rambunctiousness. They will remember your kindness throughout their lives. Certainly the majority of us parents find your influence on our children invaluable.
The atmosphere at New Goloka lends itself to a conducive environment for the execution of sadhana bhakti. The deities are so nicely cared for and the whole temple, including kitchen, ashramas, pavilion, guesthouse, grounds and gardens are pristine. I have traveled to many temples, but have only seen one or two so clean and organized. The devotees living at New Goloka exemplify a high service attitude. Living simply and renounced, they humbly serve all of us, treating us as Radha Golokananda’s guests, so that we may come to the temple and be purified.
So, thank you for your enormous contribution of inspiration not only to me but to the thousands of devotees world wide.
Your eternal servant,
Kamalini devi dasi

Dear Bir Krsna Maharaj,
Thank you so much for all your recent kindness and mercy. Srila Prabhupada has said that our ISKCON is a society based on love and trust and also that we’ve left our material families and have now joined the family of KRSNA. Unfortunately, even though I long ago left my material family, I feel I’ve never fully entered the family of KRSNA. Instead, due to attachment, I’ve become somewhat like a riven cloud, and have tried to encoil myself in some version of impersonalism, voidism, separatism and nescience.
It is said that a sadhu is one who cuts. Knowing that my heart had long been coated with layers of cement-like illusions, you knew that no ordinary knife would do the job and that the operation would be delicate. It would take a special knife – a butter knife – soaked with butter – and repeated applications, so that the butter of kindness could begin to seep through the cement like coverings. The operation was successful. But like with many serious diseases, follow-up treatments are prescribed.
On this auspicious day, I beg to thank you and pray for your continued mercy and an opportunity to serve here at New Goloka.
Thank you for representing Srila Prabhupada.

Just Like Your Child
My dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeissances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada who has so kindly sent you to help him bring me back to Krsna’s lotus feet.
It’s a little difficult to put this into words. It’s more like a picture that comes back to me many times a day and I pray to keep it that way for a very looooong time. Krsna is soooo tricky and funny and does so many things at once. When Sri Sri Radha Golokananda sent me that last dream (from the e-mail I sent you on 7/27/05, last part) at the end of which I became an infant and you picked me up and said: “She is just like
my child! What is going to happen now?” it impacted my life very deply since then.
In my dream, I was able to perceive and receive so much compassion and affection from you and it was so powerful that it removed many unwanted blocks that had been there for years, forbidding me to really hear you. But now, by your mercy I’m catching up on the last few years of your classes on the MP3 and they help me a lot to understand Srila Prabhupada’s classes better. I feel more free from fear, envy and false pride and I can listen with my heart much better.
Because you are such a true servant of Srila Prabhupada, I did transpose the same way of also being an infant in Srila Prabhupada’s arms and I’m able to hear him with attention and affection, feeling so secure and often wanting nothing else than to remain there and try to serve him to the best of my ability and assist you in your service to him.
Thank you sooooo much for helping me to do those essential steps.

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
It is hard to believe that a year has gone by so fast. Thank you for your association and engaging me in the service of Srila Prabhupada. I know that I am not very spiritually advanced and not so expert at managing New Goloka. You have got so many good qualities and tolerance is just one of them. I sometimes have that image of you in Vrindavan when you were leaning against that desire tree. In my mind you are thinking Daya-Vira is so much trouble and what am I going to do with him. I am not the most conventional worker but I will try not to create too many problems for you while doing this service.

Dear Most Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble dandavat pranamas at the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to you on this most memorable day of your Vyasa puja.
Once again I feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful spiritual master like you.
Your continued repetition of valuable instructions to my family and me has been always an inspiration. This has given us so much strength that now I feel that I will do everything possible to assist you in preaching Krshna consciousness to whoever I meet.
Please Gurudeva, bless this servant of yours so that I can live up to your expectations and continue serving your lotus feet forever.

All glories to Srila Prabhupad.
All glories to Srila Gurudev.
All glories to Srila Bir Krsna Goswami .
Please accept my humble obeisances to your divine lotus feet. In this age of Kali Lord Krsna has sent you to deliver fallen souls and preach His glories. You have been preaching Krsna consciousness for many many years as a faithful servant of Srila Prabhupad. In this way the Guru Nistha in you has now become an example for me to follow. Your helpful and merciful nature has helped me a lot in eradicating doubts in the mind. I cannot forget the day you gave me MP3 lectures when you came to Lautoka. The lectures were filled with bliss, inspiration and bhakti. Ranga mataji (from USA) also helped in sending many MP3 CDs. The lectures were very inspiring and by the help of some devotees I managed to distribute some copies to Ba devotees.
O Gurudev, I also would like to remember Srila Tamal Krsna Goswami on this auspicious occasion as well. The love and care which you have given did not make me separated from my initiating Guru I always long for your association so that I am able to increase my devotion. Please forgive my offences and bless me to be a faithful servant of all sincere devotees.

Dear Gurudeva,
I offer my respectful obeisances unto Srila Prabhupad and our spiritual master Srila Gurudev, His Holiness Bir Krsna Goswami.
Gurudeva, by your mercy, I am chanting 16 rounds daily and 25 rounds on ekadasi. In the guidance of a senior devotee, Jai Ram Prabhu, I am now working in the Hare Krsna restaurant. In the mornings, we listen to kirtana to lift up our spiritual life.
Without your mercy, I will just fall victim to maya because maya is so strong and the mind is flickering in nature. Please Gurudeva, I am just remembering you three times in a day-” toma bina ke dayalu…”
Please be merciful upon us and our family to progress more in our spiritual life and serve Sri Sri Radha Golokhbihari and Sita,Ram Laksman and Sri Sri Gaur Nitai.

My dear Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to you and to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to your appearance day!
My dear Gurudeva! I wish you all the best on this very auspicious day! May Lord Sri Krishna guard you and protect you! Please forgive me for I am so unqualified, and am not so expert in glorifying you. I am very happy, and eternally thankful to Lord Sri Krishna, for I have came in contact with the process of Krishna consciousness and the devotees.
Through devotees I have also met you, and I am very thankful that you have accepted me as a disciple, and that you guide me through my life on the way back home, back to Godhead. Unlimited thanks for all of that!
I am trying to follow your instructions, to serve Sri Krishna, the devotees, and my children. I want to dedicate my whole life to satisfy you, and to help you in service to Srila Prabhupada. Everything else is just a waste of time. In all the material creation, the only valuable thing is association of the devotees. This year I got that experience in Croatian camp, as well as on Nityananda Haridas traveling Harinama party. If the devotees feel the sweetness of chanting of the Holy name together, of nice association and cooperation, than there is no end to ecstasy and happiness.
I am very happy to belong to your family. That’s a great honor for me. I hope that one day I will grow up and mature, to deserve the causeless confidence you are giving to me. My small problems, by which I just burden you, are the result of the influence of my impure mind, who still rules over me. But, when my common sense and conscious win over the false ego, and when I accept your advice, after some time I get a realization that you are always right, and that your solution was proper. I love you very much, and I am thinking a lot about you!
My dear Gurudeva! I would like to give you so many presents, but I don’t have any wealth which I can offer you on your birthday. Therefore, please accept my heart and my life that I am offering to you sincerely and with love. Please forgive me for my imperfections. Please continue to train me, for I want to serve you more, and to follow you better. Thank You!

Dear Gurudeva!
Forgive my frivoulity with which I approached you first asking you to become my Guru. But the moment I saw you I realized you’re the respond for my praying to Srila Prabhupada.
You made my heart sing saying you’re taking responsibility of becoming my Guru and guiding me, evolving my growth in Krishna consciousness. It was the happiest moment of my life. Since then I feel a strong connection with you, which helps me to overcome all the difficulties I meet. The most important is I realize how much I love Krishna and all His creation through the crystal of this love. It makes me eager to be more engaged in His devotional service and gives me confidence about that. I can’t express how much I’m thankful to you for your blessings!
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Jaya Srila Gurudevaji!
When Tamal Krishna Mahraja Gurudeva left this world, the devotees in Fiji felt so much heaviness and pain. I almost didn’t want to go on living. You came to Fiji at just the right moment to lift us up and give us hope. You let us know that someone still cared for us.
After losing Gurudeva, I didn’t want to waste the chance to get to be close to you and do some service for you. Sometimes I still can’t believe that I am living here and getting to serve you in so many ways. I know that I am not very good at getting up for mangala arati, but you still come to my home, take prasadam and tease me in a way that makes me feel very, very close to you. There is no way that I can say thank you for all that I feel and that you do for me and my family. I just want to keep serving you and pay you back some day, at least financially.
Your servant and son,

Dear Gurudeva,
Please accept our humble obeisances at your feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
ISKCON is so lucky to have a dedicated servant like you in its leadership. You are a support and inspiration to so many and always willing to learn and grow if it will help you serve Krishna better. These days when I think of you, I remember a few things 1) The special care and reverence you show towards the deities 2) your excellent sadhana 3) your practical, helpful hand to help the needy in our movement and 4) the sincere well wishing you show for little guys like us- (me, my husband and my son).
I heard a devotee here describe that physical relief work is the ground of what is needed sometimes but Krishna Consciousness is the ceiling. You have long been one of the people who saw that both were important, even at a time that was unpopular. We look forward to getting more of your association in the future, and somehow or other to do some service that pleases you in this life.

My dear spiritual father,
I offer my most humble obeisances unto you, my spiritual master. I bow before your lotus feet. I am so unqualified, by your mercy alone am I able to approach Krsna. You have saved me from this material world. May I always be engaged in your service. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! Without him, I would be lost. Without him I would not have been able to have you as my guru. All glories to you, Bir Krishna das Goswami, my beloved Gurudeva! All glories, all glories to Sri Sri Radha Golokananda !
I am so happy to be able to give an offering for your Vyasa Puja. I hope that you are pleased with my feeble offering. Thank you so much for allowing me to become your disciple and giving me a chance to glorify you on this special day. I have not been a disciple for very long, so I do not have some wonderful story to tell of some service I have done. I had been lamenting because I am unable to do personal service for you since I live so far away. When I came for initiation a few weeks ago, I was able to make a garland for you, iron and help prepare dinner for you, however. I was so happy! I had been praying that I would be able to do some service for you. If that is the only service Krsna ever lets me do for you, I will be forever grateful. Simply saying that I am going to school, working and going about my daily life for you seems like poor service to me. I owe you so much. But service is service, right? And my life is for you and Krsna, so that should include every aspect of my life, even my boring daily activities. I hope that I may be able to serve you life after life, whatever service that may be.
I have been trying to think of nice things to say to express how I feel. I came up with this: you have saved me and I am forever grateful. I have been lost. I have spent my life looking for Krsna without knowing that He was what I was looking for. I have wandered around without direction for so long. Then you found me. I did not even know that I was ready for a guru. Madhava Priya dd simply asked me if I would go with her to the airport to meet her guru. I thought it would be nice, so I went. You were so kind. I was happily surprised when you sent me the picture of Sri Sri Radha Golokananda. It is still on my altar. I figured you would forget, being so busy. You have always been so nice and attentive. I never feel neglected. It took me a while to get up the nerve to ask for shelter. I was so afraid you would say no, but you are very merciful. You are truly the only person who I can say honestly cares about me and my well-being. It is not selfish. It is unconditional and selfless.
Every trip I have had to New Goloka has been so wonderful. I am very fortunate to have such a nice opportunity. I have been told that American devotees are fortunate because they have the chance to spend so much time with their spiritual masters, whereas in India or some other place, where there are so many people, the disciples do not get as many chances to visit with their spiritual masters.
I feel like a lost child. Like when children are in the mall with their mothers and fathers. They see all of the shinny things and try to get away from their parents so they can enjoy them. Then after some time when the child gets bored, the child realizes that their parents are nowhere to be found and that they are lost. So, they cry and cry. Then maybe, if they are lucky, some nice person comes along and helps them find their parents. That is how I feel. I ran away from Krsna so long ago that I do not even remember when it happened. I wanted to play with the shinny material world. Now I am bored. I looked around one day and realized how lost I was. I was looking and looking for Krsna without even knowing that was who I was after. Then one day Krsna sent a devotee to give me the Gita and gradually gave me the association of devotees. And when I was ready He sent me “a nice person” to show me the way back to Him. Krsna has arranged everything so nicely. You are my savior. You are my guide back to my lost parent. I am so thankful that you found me. I will be forever trying to pay you back. Nothing I can do will repay you, however.
I am so unqualified and I have no good qualities. It is by your mercy alone that I have even been allowed to become your disciple and to begin my spiritual life. Whatever you and Krsna want me to do, I will do. Wherever you and Krsna want me to go, I will go. My life is no longer my life, it never really belonged to me in the first place. It belongs to you and Krsna. My life is meant for your and Krsna’s service. You are my spiritual father, I love and respect you more than I could ever love and respect my biological father. I will spend this life and all of eternity trying to please you. So, on this Vyasa Puja day, my offering is my life. Please accept my humble offering and give me the strength to continue in your service.
Your eternally faithful servant and daughter,

Each day I am a devotee, I have Bir Krishna das Goswami to thank as
well as Srila Prabupada, for with out them I would be out in the world,

Dear Maharaj,
Please let me offer my most humble obeisances in the dust of your holy lotus feet on this most auspicious day of your appearance.
In the Nectar of Devotion it speaks of a first class devotee. The first class devotee is one who has strictly followed the rules and regulation under the training of a bona fide spiritual master and has sincerely obeyed him in accord with the revealed scriptures. Thus being fully trained to preach and become a spiritual master himself, he is considered a first class devotee.
Srila Gurudeva, you exemplify a first class devotee in every way. In your personal habits of everyday life, you have trained yourself to become a perfect instrument in Srila Prabhupada’s service. By your exemplary practice of sadhana bhakti, Krsna has blessed you with the ability to become successful in preaching Krsna consciousness all over the world.
Krsna says in the Bhagavad-gita that no one is more dear to Him than one who preaches Krsna consciousness. So by understanding this we can see how dear you are to Prabhupada and Krsna.
Srila Gurudeva, you are karuna-sindu, an ocean of mercy, always thinking of how to help everyone go back home, back to godhead. So if you desire, please allow me to always remain at the shelter of your divine lotus feet.
Your Most Fallen Servant,
Arunaditi devi dasi
Dear Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
Another year passed by, another eternity of present, and you continue to make my moments of continuous joy, and you abide in my every day.
You sooth my troubles – haunting memories of past ages are transformed to understanding by your thought – and one question arises in me again and again: What can I do for you? And I’m working on it.
Everything comes together and I learnt and learn how to laugh on Máyá – she is with me, and that’s all right I guess, we fight and laugh together and struggle through the time with a hypocritical enjoyment. I am in máyá or máyá is in máyá, or are we both or neither? – this ain’t a question, it’s just for fun playing with thoughts and words.
Devotional service is what is fun – the more the pressure the louder the laughs, Gurudeva, and how easy the accomplishment when the task is for you.
Some times I thought I’m getting stronger, my wings are growing larger, that’s why I can fly high, then I look up and see you’re holding the strings, and I am in the air. I am like the air shifting in the matter, transforming the sweet sent of the jasmine from Rádhá’s hand to foul smell – the material world, Gurudeva, what a sado-mazo relation… soon is all over.
Máyádevi taught me a lesson, all right, and I laugh instead of crying. She plays tricks, always, her nature ain’t no miracle to me. You are a miracle to me, Gurudeva – the miraculous guru-deva – and I indulge in the thought of “deva-guru”, and excuse me for I laugh again – the meaning of words is my amazement, the power of prayers, the power of the holy Names, the power of my guru. The rest… is just a hysterical, nagging Maya. She is funny, makes things go around, keeps it moving, …like the wind. I can’t fight with women anymore, I just laugh; where is the parikrama? Dear Gurudeva, thank you for your smile, Krsna – And I confess in secret, I planned the trick ’cause I’ve would of died to be just a boring sacrifice (and the devas, again, granted me the circumstances with your laughter).
For this most auspicious time of your appearance day, this feeble, aging person (that is me) wishes to serve you with all my heart. Hare Krsna

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to your lotus feet.
One of the qualities of the devotee is compassion. I have seen you demonstrate this quality many times this past year as you helped my wife and I get through traumatic life events. Actually, it is not just at these
times, but in all your dealings with the devotees, not just us, that you exhibit this characteristic. A guru is a role model, and through your compassionate dealings with the devotees, I see an example I hope to be
able to follow.
Compassion is just one of your many exemplary qualities and by your mercy, I pray to have your continued association and instruction.
Thank you for your guidance and accepting me as your aspiring disciple.
Your aspiring servant,

Almost everyday we scold Kapila and Rasaraja.
‘Wake up!’
‘Hurry up!’
‘Clean up!’
‘Sleep now!’
‘Be good!’
But sometimes they don’t listen and we have to keep telling them over and over.
We do this because we love our kids. Some how they don’t run away and find new parents. (Maybe after a few years they will?!)
A Guru’s chastisement is very, very merciful.
But still we don’t know anything. We are like kids.
Please chastise us.
Please teach us.
My wife always says, “Gurudev never chastises me.”
We will not listen sometimes, but we will not run away.
Happy Vyasa puja!

Lord Krishna has blessed Mother Earth with a most perfectly suited spiritual master. Your sincerity, perception, and conscious joy of loving Krishna uplift me from darkness.
Your patient commitment to protecting and guiding your disciples eases my pain. Your offering all that you do to the Lord reminds me of my true purpose. The peaceful balance that you radiate in the midst of ignorance, war, and tragedy uplifts me. Your compassion gives me strength to perceive my blindness and self deception. Please help me to serve you and to put ever more faith in Lord Krishna’s divine plan.
Your aspiring servant,

Dear Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances at Your merciful lotus feet. All glories to this auspicious day of Your Vyasa Puja. All glories to Your Divine Grace and to Srila Prabhupada!
This is my first letter to Your Vyasa Puja. I would like to thank You for Your great kindness for giving me siksa after Bhakti Tirtha Maharaj departed. In the summer camp “O¹tro”,Rijeka, Croatia I come with sad feelings in my heart. The disciples were surrounded those Spiritual Masters and I have felt inside emptiness and abandoned. Then I started to listen to Your exceptionally beautiful lectures everyday.
Especially when You started every lecture with divine bhajans who occupied my heart inside very deeply. In that moments I had seen Gurudev beside me, the tears flowed from my eyes in big drops and I couldn’t stop. After that I realized that Guru Maharaj wanted from me to ask You about siksa.
After You answered my first letter I felt thoughtfulness from every one of Your kind words. You gave me back gladness into my heart, the feelings of protecting and gentle acceptance.
Thank You for embracing me as Your disciple, for Your mercy and blessings.
Your servant, with love,
Bhavatarini d.d.

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept our most humble dandavat pranams at your lotus feet! All glories to you on this most auspicious occasion of your Vyasa Puja.
All glories to Srila Gurudeva! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
When Srila Gurudeva, Tamal Krishna Goswami Maharaj, departed this planet, we were all illusioned and worried about how we would continue our spiritual journey without him. Millions of thanks to Sri Radha-Krishna and Srila Prabhupada for appointing you as the spiritual guide for the TKS’s disciples in Fiji and abroad in your zone.
We are especially blessed to have your divine association in NZ. We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to host you in our home and render service unto your lotus feet. Countless thanks Srila Gurudeva for your causeless mercy in allowing us to serve you!
Sometimes we wonder how you manage to travel in different parts of the world in order to serve Srila Prabhupada and contribute his mission of spreading Krishna consciousness. Gurudeva, you are performing your service to Sri Guru and Gauranga very nicely and Srila Prabhupada must be very pleased!
Thank you very much for accepting us fallen souls as your disciples. We will all try to follow your instructions to the best of our ability and become your worthy disciples. We also are especially fortunate because we have two exalted and loving spiritual fathers – H.D. Grace Tamal Krishna Goswami Maharaj and H.D. Grace Bir Krishna Goswami Maharaj!
Our very humble prayer to Sri Sri Radha and Krishna is to always protect you from all inauspicious elements and give you good health so that you may continue to save the fallen souls on this planet.
Happy Vyasa Puja Day in Fiji!
Looking forward to your darshan.

Dear Guru Maharaj,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
All glories to the auspicious day of your Vyasa puja!
All glories to Srila Gurudeva!
Please accept this small offering on this special day of your Vyasa puja. You kindly give mercy to all the fallen souls like myself, I never imagined that I would ever have the opportunity to meet my eternal father and to take shelter of ISKCON. Srila Prabhupada mercifully established ISKCON to save all the fallen souls of this age and give us the opportunity to get a taste of love of Krishna and to understand the goal and meaning of this human life. Srila Prabhupada has kindly given us the opportunity to associate with his pure disciples, who are kindly guiding us on the path of bhakti-yoga.
Although I am not worthy, by the mercy of Sri Guru and Gauranga everything is possible.
The first time I met you at a home program, you said that you always finish your sixteen rounds even when you were so sick. By following Srila Prabhupada’s instructions you gave me a taste of devotional service performed sincerely. Although I have not had much association with you, by your vani (instructions) on the website, you have given everyone the opportunity to have your association. Your books, “You’re Not That Body” and “Encounters”, on the website, gave me a further opportunity to associate with you and try to follow your instructions. By your words, I’m trying to purify my consciousness and endeavoring to follow your instructions, you remind us to always be faithful to Sri Guru and Krishna, and how we should endeavor to become worthy servants of Srila Prabhupada, the Vaishnavas, Sri Gauranga and Lord Krishna.
I don’t have the words to express my gratitude to you, I know that only by your mercy and Lord Krishna’s mercy I am endeavoring on the path of Krsna consciousness. Thank you so much Guru Maharaj for giving me the opportunity to be your daughter, thank you for your transcendental instructions, everyday I look forward to reading the “Thought of the Day” on your website.
Thank you for always being so kind and encouraging me in devotional service, please forgive me for any offences I may have unknowingly committed in trying to follow your instructions,
Thank you Srila Prabhupada and Lord Krishna for giving me the opportunity to try to understand devotional service under the guidance of my eternal father, H.H. Srila Bir Krishna Goswami Maharaj.
May Lord Krishna bless you more and more in serving Srila Prabhupada’s mission so that you may guide more devotees to Krsna consciousness and help us to sincerely cultivate our spiritual life by your example.
Srila Guru Maharaj Vyasa Puja ki jaya!

Dear Gurudeva, I would just like to express my gratitude to Lord Krsna and Srila Prabhupada for all the mercy I have received from Them.

Dear Bir Krsna Maharaja,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Happy Appearance Day!
When my sister and I came back from Europe this summer, I felt a renewed appreciation for New Goloka. My gratitude increased when I saw the slideshow the devotees put together for the 20th anniversary. You have put so much hard work and energy into developing Sri Sri Radha Golokananda’s temple. I realize how rare it is to have the association of such an advanced Prabhupada disciple like yourself.
I especially treasure each morning program we have with you. Thank you for coming every day and giving us so much inspiration in Krsna consciousness. Being in your association during japa is a special time for me. When I watch your concentration, I also desire to chant with more attention.
It is hard to express gratitude in words. All I can say is that New Goloka would not be the same without you. I am so happy that I grew up here and I am thankful for all your lectures, bhajans and kirtans. I know for a fact that my life would have been very different if I had grown up somewhere else. Thank you for making this special difference.
Please let me know if there is any service I can do for you. And please bless me so I can develop a strong desire to increase the quality of my sadhana.

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada, Sri-Sri Radha-Golokananda, and Sri-Sri Gaur-Nitai!
This July marked the 17th year of my service to yourself and Their Lordships. Please bless me that I continue serving until the time comes to leave this body. That’s all that is necessary.
You are so kind and compassionate to the fallen living entities. You have understood His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada’s mood of compassion and concern toward the living entities. Some devotees follow the instructions of Srila Prabhupada without understanding his mood. But the instructions and the mood of His Divine Grace are both necessary for spiritual advancement.
I am so fortunate to have you as my guru-maharaja. Sri Krishna is so kind to me, a lowly fallen jiva soul. Please bless me that the mercy of Sri Caitanya and Sri Nityananda will always fill my heart. Best wishes on your Vyasa-Puja day! Hare Krishna!

Another year has passed so fast. I am sitting here trying to inumerate the things I need to be thankful for having you as my guru. Right now as I am writing this letter, I am feeling that there is no perfect words to describe all the things that you have done for me. All I can say is that I am very grateful to have you as part of my life and also knowing that I can always count on your blessings even when I do not asked for them.
Many times I feel so far away from you when I do not have often your association like going to mangala arotika to hear you sing, attend your Baghavatam class. So in order to mask this separation, I just listen to one of your many morning class tapes first thing in the morning (over and over) so that this way I feel that I have your association before my day start.
Thank you Gurudeva for your kindness when I need you. How I wish I can repay them. Please let me know how to be more of a good devotee. Right now I am really struggling to get purified. May I have your blessings? For the time being, will you please let me know how I can serve you even when time is of essence for me at this time.

On this very auspicious day of your appearance I would like to tell you something really nice to glorify your wonderful personality who is completely dedicated to the service of Lord Krishna!
By Krishna’s mercy we are all very fortunate to have your association. You have always been trying to keep us in touch with Krshna and His devotional service by any means.
My dear spiritual master, I am very sorry that I am not able to appreciate enough your presence among us fallen souls. I am aware of the importance of the relationship with the Guru. That is the essence of spiritual life and the only way to get the mercy of the Supreme Lord!
Still, we are so fallen that we don`t have any real desire to take this opportunity and surrender to Krishna completely! Nonetheless, you are so kind and merciful that in spite of our faults and weakness you keep trying to encourage us to remain in Krishna’s service somehow, by giving us your presence and your kind words!
I am very grateful to you for all you are doing for me. Since I meet you, my spiritual life has got new dimension. So many things have changed, and I can see Krishna and Krishna’s incredible mercy towards me through you. I know that we can never repay our debt to our spiritual master-that is impossible! But I do hope that I will be able to become a much better disciple one day-the disciple who can appreciate the mercy and greatness of his spiritual master and surrender completely to his lotus feet,
thus forgetting all the attachments of this material world which have no value at all!
Your very fallen disciple,

Another year has come and gone since your last Vyasa Puja. I am blessed that I am able to share a few words and thoughts on this special day. With you, my father, I am satisfied, more, now than ever, that it was Krishna’s arrangement for you to be my guide back home, back to Godhead. Krishna, when He knows we are sincere, and ready, sends us the spiritual master, and the spiritual master, through his loving guidance and instructions gives us Krishna. I count my many blessings everyday, that Krishna sent me you. You, my dear father take on the biggest responsibility, by accepting us fallen souls as your children….but you do it with so much love and compassion, knowing very well our limitations, and are very merciful and understanding.
Regarding going back home, back to Godhead, if I am to understand it correctly, it doesn’t really matter where we go. We keep Krishna in our hearts, and remember that our eternal position is to serve Him, and doing so, that means wherever He wants us to go. All that really matters is that we stay continuously engaged in loving service to Krishna and our spiritual master. It doesn’t stop there…we serve also, other devotees, our god-brothers and god-sisters, our families, friends, etc….As it is said, we are servants. You are Krishna’s representative. I know you are not God, but you deserve the same respect as Krishna. Sometimes you might think I am a little hard headed (I admit I am sometimes), but never, never think when you tell me something, I am not listening. I do respect you with all my heart and soul, I do listen, and try to comply. I thank you so much for allowing me to serve you in whatever way I can, and welcome your suggestions how I can make improvements. My prayers are that you continue to let me serve you eternally, no matter how many births I must take.
I also wanted to express my thanks for allowing me more association from you those few times when I was there at Rangadevi and Amsu’s house, especially when there were small gatherings and we all took prasadam there. I always really enjoy going to the temple to hear your classes, but I also enjoy the conversations and the more personal relaxed atmosphere and association away from the temple, too. Last, but not least, thank you for adopting me into this family with so many god-brothers and god-sisters. They accepted me with open arms. The love between you, my father, and your children is never ending, and priceless.
I know you will be in Fiji this year for Vyasa Puja, but please know, even if not physically present with you, I am there too. I can imagine the happiness that the devotees and your disciples there are feeling, knowing that their Gurudeva will be there this year. We felt it last year, and hopefully we will again be blessed next year, too. So, that being said, Happy Vyasa Puja! We love you!

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
On this most auspicious day of your appearance, I can only say how grateful I am for your kindness to the most fallen in this age. I had previously been so proud but now see how I never left my place among their ranks.
You are steadfast in your determination to save those who will accept your mercy, and for those who are not at present ready to hear, you secretly sow the seeds of devotion in unknowing hearts that, though today are stone-like, will someday soften so that the bhakti- lata- bij can sprout and begin its ascent to the lotus feet of Sri Krishna.
I found recently that to become even a little bit away from your lotus feet is the most dangerous position because we then become vulnerable to this age of Kali and make mistakes that can never be undone. In spite of this, though, you continue to allow one so degraded to get your cooling association and the association of your dear disciples. For this, Srila Gurudeva, I am eternally grateful and my debt to you has since increased millions of times. I now realize that until I can completely surrender in trust and take shelter of you as my ever well-wisher, I will never become purified. Attachment to his lotus feet is the perfection that fulfills all desires.
Srila Gurudeva, I beg of you to please permit me some attachment to your lotus feet rather than to remain the camel ever delighting in the juice of the thorns. Sadhu, guru, and Krishna have told us repeatedly to take shelter of Krishna’s holy names and we have now experienced firsthand how important this is. For when, in what has been my darkest hour, the names of Sri Krishna mercifully removed so much despair and enabled me to resume this journey on the path back home, back to Godhead.
Srila Gurudeva, pride becomes smashed when one realizes her fallen position, and so in this mood, I approach you with folded palms and beg of you to please give me the required intelligence, strength, and determination to without fail be permitted eternal and perfect engagement in your pure and loving service.

In this very life that is the day you born, this is a very auspicious day for us. We are fallen soul that without you we can not see the sunlight of spiritual knowledge .

We are very happy to touch your lotus feet and enjoy this life with Krishna consciousness.
Please engage us in more devotional service in this very life like how you got instruction from Prabhupada.

Dear Srila Gurudev,
Please accept our most humble obeisance unto your divine lotus feet on this most auspicious day of your Vyasa Puja.
Srila Gurudeva, you are no doubt a bona-fide representative of Sri Krishna and without your mercy we will not be able to progress on the path of Bhakti. Despite being so busy, you have always taken time out to visit the devotees in Fiji and your association has always inspired us to progress in Krishna consciousness. By your grace we are trying to render service by distributing prasadam (halwa) to the public every Saturday at Ba municipal market and are also trying to distribute the name of Lord Sri Krishna to everyone.
On this most auspicious day of your Vyasa puja, we seek your blessings to progress in Krishna consciousness and render service to the best of our abilities.
We beg to remain your servant in Krishna consciousness.

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my most fallen obeisances at your lotus. It is by your mercy that you have come to liberate the fallen souls.
Gurudeva, you are the most pure of heart, expertly preaching love of godhead, assisting Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu by chanting and glorifying His holy names all over the world. Specially your unlimited mercy that this fallen conditioned soul has been awakened from darkest ignorance. I cannot ever think where I would be if I could not find shelter of your lotus feet.
Gurudeva, because of your mercy, my spiritual life is growing like a small plant. We all devotees in Lambasa are eagerly waiting for your darsana.
Once again please allow me to offer our humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet.

Over the last year there have been many obstacles put before my husband and myself and you have been there for us through all of them. You have made yourself available no matter where you were or what was going on elsewhere. You guided us through the darkness to understand Lord Krishna’s lesson. We have been extremely fortunate to have had so much of your personal association this past year and to have been able to do personal service for you. We truly cherish being able to watch your example and learn from your instructions.
Through the years you have showered your mercy upon me even though I am extremely unqualified and now I see you showering Gopal with that same mercy, I am forever grateful for this. We are your unqualified servants and we pray for your continued patience with us as we stumble along the path back home.

Dearest Maharaja,
Please accept our prostrates unto the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
All glories to you on this most auspicious day as you appeared on this material planet only with the mission to help Srila Prabhupada reclaim the fallen conditioned souls.
While we think how much more Srila Prabhupada could be pleased by Your services, You remained unsatisfied thus continuously pushing yourselves for outreach to guide those helpless souls to destiny.
We witnessed how stressed you became before hurricane Katrina was about to make its visit to two of our temples in New Orleans and New Talavan. You tried all means to keep in touch with those devotees and at the same time you kept the local devotees at New Goloka informed, so that they could handle the situation with patience and intelligence.
Devotees are aware of your involvement with the Portland congregation, comforting and keeping them focused in their devotional life, and you are doing this to keep them in ISKCON, only for the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada.
At least you made my mood so ecstatic when you published the Fiji temple opening article, with pictures of my great sakha’s, Bhimasena and Nandagopala, on the cover page of the BTG magazine. That built up my self-esteem the most. Thanks for fulfilling my ego!!
Now what to say about your decision to celebrate Your Vyasa-Puja in Fiji. How much mercy will each devotee receive by serving Your lotus feet. I am sure the devotees will run out of time glorying you in due course.
With our imperfect senses, Maharaja, we could only mention a few of your innumerable qualities of your compassion.
We are praying to Srila Prabhupada that He continues to guide You, so You may guide us in the same way and lead us back to where we came from.
Dear Maharaja, we beg you to forgive and guide us, for any offences that we may have knowingly or unwillingly committed at Your lotus feet.
We will miss you at your Vyasa Puja here at New Goloka this year.
Kindly let us stay at the shelter of Your lotus feet.
Happy Vyasa-Puja!! Hare Krishna.

Please accept my obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to you on this most auspicious day of your appearance.
Gurudeva, after my friends (devotees and non-devotees alike) meet you for the first time, they always feel a need to make some statement about what they thought of you. There’s always varying things, like ‘he’s so intelligent’, ‘he’s so nice’, ‘he’s so funny’, but the one that always comes up every time is ‘he’s so cool’. I always find it a little odd, because I’ve never heard any other serious devotee described as cool. Also you’re not like the typical ‘cool’ person. You don’t wear what these people would perceive to be the coolest sunglasses, or the coolest clothes, or drive the coolest car, or talk the coolest talk or anything like that, so I’m always left wondering what it is about you that they find so ‘cool’.
So lately I’ve been wondering what this ‘cool’ means to them. Why do they see you as cool? What is it about you that’s so cool that everyone comments on it?
Is it your wisdom? Definitely they think you’re very wise. One friend once said to me “He just knows everything about everything!” But there are some real nerds who know everything about everything, and they’re definitely not cool.
Is it because you play the guitar? You do play very well, and everyone always appreciates it. But I also know a lot of people who play the guitar very well who are so not cool, so I don’t think your guitar ability is the quality that makes you cool.
I’ve been thinking along these lines a lot and I’ve really struggled to pick one single quality alone that makes you so cool. I was starting to come up with the theory that perhaps it’s a combination of all your qualities that makes you cool when I was listening to one of your classes in the car. You were talking about the first time you met Srila Prabhupada. How you had been hanging around the fringes of ISKCON but couldn’t bring yourself to join and wear bed sheets. But then you met Srila Prabhupada and you understood immediately that here was a person who cared about you deeply and eternally, and that’s why you joined ISKCON.
Gurudeva, I think that’s what my friends see in you and that’s why they think you’re cool. Finally here’s someone who cares about them not because they’re married to them, not because they work with them, not because they’re friends or relatives but just because you care, and it’s bewildering for them, because they have never experienced anything like it before. I think that’s why the say you’re cool. They see this quality, but they can’t define it, so they use words they know that mean something undefined, but good.
I also experienced this the first time I wrote to you. When I received your reply, I laughed and cried and read all at the same time. I was at work, and my boss thought I was having a breakdown, but I was just so happy to finally understand “yes, he really cares about me eternally.”
So Gurudeva, I just wanted to say thank you for being so cool.

My dear father,
Please accept my obeisances. All glories to your service and dedication to Krishna!
The dimensions of my journey with you and Lord Krishna has been a force that has carried me through the trials and tribulations of life. I have to admit that my devotional life has been ups and downs lately. I’ve even doubted the existence of God, but somehow your example has been an inspiration that has given me strength when I’ve needed it the most.
Humility has been a theme that I’ve been thinking about a lot lately. When I think back to my years at the temple, I see myself having been proud of what I was. I had a certain “position” in the devotee community – I got to do personal service for you and the Deities. I thought I was important, and now when I think back, I did look down on others. Yes, I did think that people more engaged in household affairs were “less evolved”, I thought somehow I was special. If nothing more, the time spent further away from the temple and the devotees has opened my eyes to see that the world is a bigger place than just a small community of devotees. I have no position or merits in this world. I am just one of the millions on this planet. Who am I to think that I’m special in any way. Who am I to judge others, or to think that they are less. I’m truly just a lost soul looking for God, totally dependent on His mercy. As strange as it sounds, being a bit lost and further away from you, Gurudeva, has also strengthened my appreciation for you. I see my relationship with you as a blessing that should not be taken for granted. I am very impressed by your tolerance and compassion with your disciples all over the world. You continue giving and helping through all circumstances.
Another issue that has occupied my mind lately is the role of tolerance in ISKCON’s politics. As Bhakti Tirtha Maharaja passed away, I have been reflecting on his work on issues of diversity within ISKCON. At least here in Finland things are not looking very bright. I feel that I can’t even visit the temple here due to the atmosphere of discrimination against minorities. I just really don’t believe that racism and gay bashing are what Krishna consciousness is about, and surely this kind of atmosphere drives away many intelligent people who otherwise would be interested in spiritual life. Fortunately I have your example of a gentle hearted devotee to look at. I know that when someone is deeply dedicated to Krishna, they do not act discriminative in any way. Thank you Gurudeva, for showing that to me!
So, I will continue on with my path with the strength I get from your example. I wish that one day you can look at me and say that you are proud of your daughter.
Happy Birthday Gurudeva!

Please accept my humble obeisances in the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupad. All glories to you.
As Lord Krishna remains always grateful to His servitors, a devotee should always feel grateful toward the Supreme Lord and the various well-wishers, gurus and guides who have helped him along the spiritual path.
Srila Gurudev, thank you for your blessings, which are keeping me in devotional service.
Thank you for pulling me out of the ocean of material existence and giving me spiritual guidance.
Thank you for enlightening me and dispelling my doubts.
Thank you for accepting me as your disciple and so allowing me to become a member of Srila Prabhupad’s family.
On this most auspicious day I am praying to you, that I could remember and follow the instructions you gave me, in every aspect of my life. I know that only by following your instructions I can hope that some day I will become worthy of being your disciple.

My dear Gurudev,
Please accept my most humble obeisances at your lotus feet on this auspicious day of your appearance.
I feel fortunate for being accepted as a disciple of yours. Thank you for providing the guiding light of my life. You came to this material world to teach Krsna consciousness and deliver fallen souls like us. We cannot describe how great your mercy is.
Gurudev, I pray for your causeless mercy to make me more sincere in devotional service. The only way to attain pure love of God is to serve at your lotus feet.
All glories, all glories, all glories to my Beloved Spiritual Father.
Your most fallen son,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and
Your beloved,Their Lordship Sri Sri Radha Golokananda.
Thank you for being so kind and caring to my daughter and me. You have always been so examplery by your dedication to your service to Srila Prabhupada mission. Every year you are taking more and more responsibility to help with devotees and new projects. I admire you for being so steady in your sadhana and commitment to Guru and Krsna.
Gurudev, may I get a drop of your mercy to follow in your footsteps. Please consider me as a member and part of your spiritual familly. Please help me to become steady to serve Srila Prabhupada’s movement. I beg you to forgive my offences.
Recently I really thank you for being there for me, when there were so many ups and downs in my life. It meant a lot to me when you called all the way to Mauritius to express your condolences ,when my mother left her body. She always used to tell me to offer her obeiances to you. She had your pictures everywhere in her temple room. Many devotees and family came to know about you through my mother back in Mauritius. Thank you.

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humblest obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to Your Divine Grace!
As I reflect on my past year’s association with you, I can’t help but wonder why I always wait until the last day of the deadline each year to write this offering. And then I realized that every moment of reflection on your glories reveals more and more devotional qualities. Just this past week, you were so kind to me that, as we were sitting together at a wedding, you asked my opinion as to what’s appropriate. You wanted to know if I thought reading during the ceremony would offend anyone. I was taken aback by your question, and I was reminded of Uddhava. Even though Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, still, He often inquires from His friend Uddhava on matters of etiquette, public behavior, etc. Krishna has no real need of another’s opinion, but for Uddhava’s benefit, and more importantly, to increase Uddhava’s loving devotion to Him, Krishna consults Uddhava. Similarly, you kindly asked my opinion, even though you know so much better about matters of etiquette, and so forth. And of course, I was inspired to serve and appreciate your qualities all that much more by your friendly exchange.
Over the last five years, as I foolishly wandered throughout the darkest region of this material world, you always found one excuse or another to come to Los Angeles to give me mercy. Even better, when I finally realized that I can’t live without the association of Sri Sri Radha-Golokananda, and came back to Hillsborough, you so mercifully welcomed me back into the community with open arms. And by your example, all the faithful devotees living in this community, who are innumerable, also made me feel so welcome and loved. I cannot describe any further with words how much that means to me. Thank you for welcoming me home, Srila Gurudeva. It’s SO GOOD to be back!
So, all glories, all glories to this auspicious day, your Vyasa Puja, when everyone has the rare opportunity to remember your pastimes and qualities, even more than we do on other days. Your appearance in the world is not an ordinary event, Srila Gurudeva, and it signifies your endless mercy that you’ve come here just to save us eternally conditioned souls.
Hare Krishna! We beg to remain…

Hare Krsna Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to you on your appearance day.
You know, I never really realized just what we have here at New Goloka until Janmastami this year. They showed the slide show of you and how you built New Goloka from nothing but love. I just have to say my eyes were really opened at that minute to just exactly what you have done here. You have built a beautiful home and community for so many of us. Not just your disciples, but anyone who wants to come. When you first come to New Goloka, it is nice, there are buildings, nice grounds, beautiful temple, and their Lordships Sri-Sri Radha Golokananda and due to our unlimited ignorance, sometimes it just seems that these things have always been here. We don’t recognize the blood, sweat, and tears that have gone into making these things happen for so many years. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Gurudeva, for making this wonderful place for all of us to live. Having lived elsewhere, I can truly appreciate the blessing that it is to all who are here. May I never leave New Goloka or your service.
Your eternal daughter and servant,

To our dear most Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept our obeisances. All glories to your singing lotus feet. All glories to our dear most Srila Prabhupada.
Our whole life, and all our previous lives have led us to the perfection of serving your lotus feet. If we were to accomplish nothing more than this we would certainly have all success. Our deepest desire is to fulfill your desire for our life, which realistically belongs to you.
Before coming to Krsna consciousness everything was insignificant and in disarray. Now that we are working towards a true life, one that is fully Krsna conscious we can see how all the pieces are being put in place. This is only due to the mercy of guru. We owe you endless obeisances, and relish this seemingly simple act. We take our heart, mind and soul to the floor at your lotus feet.
Our prayer is that our life will be a constant prayer in your service. We can think of no greater goal than to echo your mood in every aspect of our life and service.
After the noon arotik we were given a sheet for reciting the verses for requesting forgiveness for one’s offenses. There is one verse that stands out most to us as it was in our heart before our spiritual rebirth, and has come to us now, as the sweetest words known to our heart.
It is as follows –
ajnanad athava jnanad asubham yan maya krtam
ksantum arhasi tat sarvam dasyenaiva grhana mam
sthitih seva gatir yatra smrtis cinta stutir vacah
bhuyat sarvatmana visno madiyam tvayi cestitam
“Whatever inauspicious things I have done out of ignorance or unknowingly, please forgive that, and accept me as Your insignificant servant. Let my normal condition be service, let my movement be holy pilgrimage, let my thought be remembrance of You, let my words be glorification of You. O Visnu, let my activities, with my whole mind, body, and soul, be engaged in You.”
This is our goal in life. To be one constant prayer in everything we do in your service. No matter what is asked we pray to fulfill your desire. We understand that perfection for our life is offering everything to you for Krsna’s service. There is no way in which we could know what is right or wrong as we have committed so many sins without direction before coming under your care and supervision. We were thinking the other night that most would not understand why we would want someone giving us direction for every aspect of life, but we were feeling relief because we know that this is the means to a perfected end. Without your deep caring and loving sense for how each individual soul should develop on their spiritual path, that individual would be lost.
Our dear most Srila Gurudeva, you are the greatest shelter for such a low soul as ourself. We owe you everything. We can see that any reciprocation that we have received through our efforts to become purified are completely due to your mercy. And we can also see that when we make the slightest turn away from your direction, that connection is dimmed and eventually lost. This is our greatest fear. We no longer want to be at a great distance from Krsna. We pray to Hanuman that somehow we can be chaste to your instructions for without them we are simply worthless.
We wanted so much to go home. Due to your mercy, we have caught that scent and hope never to lose it. Please let us sit at your feet, and do whatever service you find appropriate.
With deep love and respect,
Your eternal servant and daughter,
Gopi

While performing devotional service in this age of Kali-yuga, it is very difficult to avoid offenses. As soon as you think you are doing the right thing, you notice that there is something wrong and that you have totally lost control. In our English book back in my school days was an imaginary discussion between Mahatma Gandhi and Winston Churchill. They were discussing about how to attain world peace. So, of course, Churchill’s argument was, “The end justifies the means.” By one’s will power and strength one should slay all the enemies and agressors to get peace. I became afraid of that and took merely Gandhi’s side of non-violent resistance. However, Krsna’s teachings in Bhagavad-Gita to Arjuna are closer to Churchill’s idea, yet ultimately different from both of them. The spiritual master engages the disciple in the service of the Supreme Lord, Sri Krsna, by the nature of the disciple. Furthermore, Bhagavad-Gita explains that it is better to perform ones natural duty, even though faultily, than someone else’s duty perfectly. So, there is a little bit of a relief from the mistakes that might come along with the service. There is a prayer to indicate this,
aparadha sahasrani
kriante ‘har-nisam maya
daso ‘ham iti man matva
ksamasva madhusudana
“Thousands of offenses are performed by me day and night. But thinking of me as Your servant, kindly forgive those, O Madhusudana.” Similarly, I simply try to serve you hoping that my mistakes and offenses would be mitigated by it. Last spring I had a dream one night that you and I were walking together on a road towards the sunset. Suddenly I turned to you and said, “I will never leave your service.” You just stopped and turned to me, but didn’t say anything. At the same time I felt emotional warmth and understood that this is right. I also noticed that at least you didn’t object or go away. As Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura prays in his famous song,
yasya prasadad bhagavat-prasado
yasyaprasadan na gatih kuto ‘pi
“By the mercy of the spiritual master one receives the benediction of Krsna. Without the grace of the spiritual master one cannot make any advancement.” So, I feel that you are a very important connection between myself and Srila Prabhupada and all the way through the disciplic succession to Krsna. I just pray that my offenses are never growing so huge that this connection would be broken. A devotee friend of mine had studied a little bit of palm reading and he could see from my hand that I won’t be materially successful, but I got the mercy of the guru. I was pleased when he told me that. So, I shall just continue serving you with the best of my capacity.

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
I feel extremely blessed to be given the opportunity to offer you some kind words on your Vyasa-puja; so blessed, in fact, that I’m at somewhat at a loss for words, given our unique history and interesting developement over the years.
When I first met you in 1993 in New Orleans, you had come to restore order and sanity in a temple that had recently been struck with tragedy and political chaos, and you did the job with tact and proficiency. When I moved to New Goloka in 1995, you were leading many young devotees in their newfound spiritual lives and maintaining older devotees with your devotional enthusiasm and strong sadhana. As I went on in my path, I encountered you, from time to time, displaying much of the same heroic and selfless services that I had seen you display since the beginning.
There were the years that you acted as the chairperson for the North American GBC, continuously coming to the rescue. There was Hawaii, which you held together and steered like a commander and his ship. There was Germany, after the situation with Harikesa, where the GBC meetings were balanced out by your humor and serious dedication to Srila Prabhupada. There was Fiji, where you helped establish a center of inspiration and service opportunity for thousands and thousands of people. And there was the most recent situation, in Germany and Portland, in which you took it upon yourself to help a godbrother and his disciples, and spent your own money and time listening to, inspiring and encouraging numbers of devotees in need. All of these things you’ve done, and still you had all the time in the world for your disciples.
So, through all the years I’ve known you, there seems to be a recurring theme – You are utterly committed to Srila Prabhupada’s society. You show, day in and day out, a selfless, strict and dedicated discipleship that is absolutely inspiring to behold. You show loyalty, love, understanding, reason, and a true sense of duty.
I’m so thankful and forever indebted to you for accepting me as a disciple, and am humbled by your willingness to work with the lowest of lows.

Please accept my most humble obeisances at the divine dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and all glories to Your Divine Grace.
All glories, all glories, all glories to most auspicious day of your Vyasa Pooja.
Gurudev, I sit here with a pen in my hand
Trying to glorify the most magnanimous man
What can I speak, how should I say
That would justify you the utmost way
It’s not new that you never fail
No matter how strongly we are trapped in maya’s jail
Your perfection always shines through
And glories always prevail
You travel tirelessly around the world giving initiation
To save the ignorant souls from drowning into the material ocean
This is why you have taken the order of renunciation
Oh, Gurudev! You are your masters direct expansion
You show loyalty to Srila Prabhupad
By working for his satisfaction
You suffer for your disciples
And yet give them benediction
How can one glorify a person with such determination
Who meditates day and night on his masters instruction
Stone like hearts melt with moments of your association
Deliverance of these fallen souls has become your life soul and mission
Srila Gurudev, there is no one like you
To whom all my obeisance’s are due
Either I chant Krishna’s Holy Name
Or yours, the effect is same
As Srila Prabhupada has blessed you with immense spiritual wealth
I pray to Lord Narasimha to give you excellent health
Srila Gurudev, on this special occasion very rare
Please accept this offering as my menial share

Dear Srila Gurudeva
Please accept my respectful obeisances unto your most merciful lotus feet, who is a manifestation of Srila Prabhpada’s compassion toward fallen condition souls such as myself.
Srila Gurudeva, you are a strict follower of the instructions of Srila Prabhupada and as such you are a most perfect shelter and representative of ISCKON.
Oh Ocean of mercy, on this auspicious day of your divine appearance, please bless me with a drop of faith and genuine love you have for Srila Prabhupada and the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krisna. I am currently in need of spiritual strength to strictly follow regulative priniciples of sadhana bhakti and develop positive qualities of consistent and sustained enthusiasm in practice of devotional service. I do not have any strong desire to attain perfection in devotional service as I am drowned in an ocean of wordly existence. While I am going thru this dark night of ignorance, your mercy is my only shelter and hope.
You bestow your mercy to everyone without discrimination because you are not envious of anyone. That is why whatever you do, is so pleasing to everyone and anyone who comes in contact with you, quickly gets attracted to you. One can get glimpses of Lord Chaitanya’s munificient mercy through you. That is why you are engaged in missionary activities meant to deliver all the conditioned souls on this planet.
O venerable Vaisnava Thakur, you have the power to deliver me up from this miserable world. I simply take shelter of the shade of your lotus feet. I am sure by your causeless mercy, one day I will wake up in Goloka Vrindavan.
With lots of love from
Your insignificant son,

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Your Grace.
The most mystical thing I have maybe ever experienced is the fact that you are capable of delivering the Lord’s mercy. I have experienced it many times. And mercy is not something intangible that only philosophers talk about. I mean exactly this: that when an unhappy person comes to you, you make them happy. You do it by the empowerment of Prabhupada and Krishna. One day I would also like to have that power.
I won’t heap up words. This is what I have to say. I look forward to the opportunity to speak extemporaneously at your birthday party. Thank you.
Your servant,

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my obeisances. All glories to Your Divine Grace. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Another year has passed and I have been once again thrashed around by the material nature. My everyday consciousness is so far removed from the sublime state of Krishna consciousness that to feign some semblance of spiritual humility here would be a complete farce. I will say, however, that your kindness, The Deities, and the devotees at New Goloka continue to be an inspiration to me and my family. You all are constantly reeling me back in to the fold. Thank you very much.
I am always inspired by your dedication to Srila Prabhupada and his mission. You really have no other business than that. This is truly admirable and we should all aspire to develop even a fraction of such dedication. You asked last year in your offering to Srila Prabhupada whether you really wanted to become Srila Prabhupada’s eternal servant. I say that you already are.
I’m sorry that I have no flowery words, or long diatribe, or rhyme or reason, for this year’s offering. I only wish you many more years of serving Srila Prabhupada with us here in New Goloka. My family and I are eternally grateful for your kindness, and I hope to one day to be able to make you proud.
Your aspiring servant,

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glory to Srila Prabhupada. All glory to Sri Sri Radha Golokananda. All glory to Your Divine Grace on this most auspicious day.
Your association continues to deeply inspire us as we attempt to serve the Lord in some humble way. It is our desire to be effective in guiding sincere souls back to the Lotus Feet of our dear Lord Sri Krishna.
We wish to be the example- to live a God conscious, God centered lifestyle while functioning as (materially and spiritually) responsible members of society. To have a lifestyle that is attractive and appealing- to live in such a way that other spiritually inclined people would want to emulate. “Utility is the principle”- to apply and present this knowledge in a way that is attractive and appealing to intelligent, sincere souls…..
We are working hard towards dovetailing our wishes with Lord Sri Krishna’s instruction revealed to us by Srila Prabhupada and wonderful sanyassis like yourself. We would like to take this opportunity, on such an auspicious day, to say thank you. Thank you for everything you have given us; for New Goloka, for the Deities, for each other, for all the wonderful devotees in your service, for the great feasts, uplifting Kirtans, for your wonderful energy, for your devotion, for your concern, for your instruction, for your advice, and for your example.
Wishing you a very happy appearance day!

Dear Maharaj,
Please accept our most humble obeisances unto the dust of your divine lotus feet. All glories, all glories to Srila Prabhupada and Your Holiness!
Today is the most auspicious of all days in the material world, marking the transcendental appearance of Your Holiness. It is an indication, or rather an expression of love of Sri Krishna for us in that He has sent
His most dear and confidential servant for this most important work of reclaiming the fallen conditioned souls – back home back to Godhead.
Maharaj, again and again I am reminded of the prayers of Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura, thus I meditate:
You’re receiving benediction from the ocean of mercy. Just as a cloud pours water on a forest fire to extinguish it, so you deliver the materially afflicted world by extinguishing the blazing fire of material
existence. I offer my respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet, who is an ocean of auspicious qualities.
Chanting the holy name, dancing in ecstasy, singing, and playing musical instruments, you are always gladdened by the sankirtana movement of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Because you are relishing the mellows of pure devotion within your mind, sometimes your hair stands on end, you feel quivering in your body, and tears flow from your eyes like waves. I offer my respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet.
You are always engaged in the temple worship of Sri Sri Radha Golokananda and Sri Radha Golokabihari. You also engage your disciples in such worship. They dress the Deities in beautiful clothes and ornaments, clean Their temple, and perform other similar worship of the Lord. I offer my respectful obeisances unto your divine lotus feet.
You are always offering Krsna four kinds of delicious food [analyzed as that which is licked, chewed, drunk, and sucked]. When you see that the devotees are satisfied by eating Bhagavat prasada, you are satisfied. I
offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of such a spiritual master.”
“You are always eager to hear and chant about the unlimited pastimes of Radhika and Madhava, and Their qualities, names, and forms. You aspire to relish these at every moment. I offer my respectful obeisances unto
your divine lotus feet.
You are very dear, because you are expert in assisting the gopis, who at different times make different tasteful arrangements for the perfection of Radha and Krsna’s loving affairs within the groves of Vrndavana. I offer my most humble obeisances unto your divine lotus feet.
You are to be honored as much as the Supreme Lord, because you are the most confidential servitor of the Lord. This is acknowledged in all revealed scriptures and followed by all authorities. Therefore I offer my
respectful obeisances unto your divine lotus feet that are the shelter for the fallen, and you are bona fide representative of Sri Hari [Krsna].
By your mercy, one receives the benediction of Krsna. Without your grace, one cannot make any advancement. Therefore, I should always remember and praise Your transcendental personality. I offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of a spiritual master, like Your Divine Grace.
Once again, Maharaj, thank you very much for being our guide and tolerating us.

O Great Sage, great persons like you visit the homes of family men, not to profit from them but simply to bestow eternal auspiciousness upon them, even though they are often reluctant to hear anything for their spiritual benefit, being too materialistic. Otherwise you have no need to travel from one place to the next. (Bhäg. 10.8.4)
Dear Gurudeva,
This year I was very lucky to spend some time in your association. Having been successfully retired at the ripen age under 30, I had envisioned my further existence of personal bhajan and occasional travels for the pleasure of the mind.
You had very expertly and gently engaged me in some service to the body of Srila Prabhupada, and by your grace I had escaped my mental traps for now.
I can tell you frankly, that by the end of the last year, I was just ready to quit. By seeing your enthusiasm and nice progress you and your disciples are making in Fiji, made me think that maybe I can still be helpful to this society somehow.
You made me feel needed, gave me encouragement and service, and you were standing by me in my most difficult days. But most important of all, you took personal interest in me.
When we visited the house of your Godbrother, Tulsi Das, he was surprised and happy to see you, because you were the first sannyasi who ever came for a visit. At that time you said to him that this is your strength and favorite service to visit devotees and encourage them in their Krishna consciousness. Thank you for being who you are.

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
All glories to You and the blessed event of Your appearance!
Srila Gurudeva, You have saved me and have given me Krishna along with the potency to give Him to others.
I am but an insignificant jiva struggling to become free from maya’s influence. Any advancement that I may have made is all due to Your mercy, without which I would be condemned. It is because of Your mercy and desire that Lord Krishna continuosly puts me in difficult situations where I have no choice but to surrender.
navai jano jatu kathancanavrajen
mukunda-sevy anyavad anga samsrtim
smaran mukundandanghru-upaguhanam punar

“My dear Vyasa, even though a devotee of Lord Krishna sometimes falls down somehow or other, he certainly does not undergo material existence like others (fruitive workers, etc.) because a person who has relished the taste of the lotus feet of the Lord can do nothing but remember that ecstasy again and again.” (Bhag. 1.5.19)
Because of Your mercy, Krishna has never abandoned me, but is working with me to rectify my heart. In his purport, Srila Prabhupada compares the punishment a devotee receives to the loving correction a child receives from a parent, whereas the punishment a nondevotee suffers is similar to the suffering an orphan experiences whe he is handled cruelly by strangers.
Because of Your mercy, I can, even very fallen, remember Krishna and Guru favorably. Even when I am forced to suffer in prison, due to Your mercy my devotion wends its way to the forefront of my mind.
When I met Your Divine Grace, I knew that I met my true father, and just like a father, you have been very patient and understanding towards me; even though I am nothing but a rascal. I am daily praying that I may continue to follow all Your instructions and make You proud of me. I also pray that You use me as an instrument for inspiring others.
I cannot properly thank You, Srila Gurudeva, for giving me Your divine mercy and for giving me a purpose for living.
Your eternal servant,
Janmastami dasa
Dear Gurudeva
Please accept my humble obeisances at your feet. All glories to you and Srila Prabhupada.
At the occasion of your appearance day, I thought it would be nice to try to remember your good qualities according to the letters of the alphabet. It is not an original idea but I think it is a good one if it can serve
as an impetus to glorify you. After all, we don’t say that the Absolute Truth is beyond words. Rather, all the words and all the letters of the alphabet are meant to glorify Krishna and His representative.
A – Appreciative. You always note any little service anyone does and magnify it in a very encouraging way.
B – Brave. You take difficult and challenging situations head on, on Krishna’s behalf.
C – Creative. You come up with new and innovative ways of preaching and distributing Krishna’s mercy.
D – Determined. Nothing dampens your enthusiasm to serve your spiritual master and his mission..
E – Enthusiastic. You are always perform your sadhana and practical service with utmost eagerness.
F – Fearless. You welcome any challenge and personal discomfort in the service of your spiritual master.
G – Grave. Despite your joyful appearance, one can sense an underlying avity in you, since Krishna-consciousness is your life and soul.
H – Helping others. You are always willing to give your time, energy and association to help devotees (and non-devotees alike) in all kinds of ways to come closer to Krishna.
I – Intimate. Despite the gulf of difference between your spiritual advancement, and that of those who have taken shelter of you, you treat your disciples in a wonderfully kind and loving way.
J – Joyful. You always find the bright and spiritual side in all situations.
K – Krishna-conscious. You relish Krishna’s name, form and pastimes and His service throughout the day.
L – Loyal. Your guiding principle is to serve Srila Prabhupada and his movement.
M – Merciful. Despite my disqualifications you have accepted me amongst your servants.
N – Nurturing. You care for your spiritual children like a father or mother would care for his or her dependents.
O – Open. You are willing to discuss difficult and controversial topics in the spirit of honesty.
P – Peaceful. You constantly step above the mundane disturbances and agitations, being situated transcendentally.
Q – Questioning. You always ask the important question: What is a relevant and dynamic way a to expand Krishna-consciousness in an ever-changing world, without compromising its basic principles.
R – Regulated. Your personal sadhana is undeviated to the highest extent, like lines in stone.
S – Systematic. You are trying to expand Srila Prabhupada’s movement around the world in a systematic way
T – Transcendental. You see the metaphysical side and application in the most ordinary-looking things, and are thus untouched by the modes of nature, like a lotus is not moistened by water.
U – Unbelievable. It is difficult to grasp how much service you are doing for Krishna.
V – Visionary. You have seen the future of the Krishna-consciousness vement and you are working actively to realize it.
W – Willing to serve Krishna and Srila Prabhupada is your foremost characteristic.
X – X-ray-vision seems to be there when you look into the hearts of the ople, seeing where they are and how to engage them in Krishna’s service.
Y – Youthful. Because of being in contact with the higher reality, you appear youthful like a (well-behaved) child, with almost unlimited interest in changing the world into Vaikuntha.
Z – Zealous. The missionary zeal to spread Krishna-consciousness is deep within your heart.
This was too short a list. I am proud and happy of being your disciple, despite having no personal qualification.

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances in the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace on this most auspicious occasion of the
celebration of your appearance.
In a world that is dark, faithless, and full of disaster, you are a ray of Vishnu. As a lighthouse signals that the shore is nearby, so does your presence indicate Sri Krsna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s unconditional and infinite love and mercy. With laughter and an endearing smile you beckon us, the conditioned and the illusioned, to come closer to Krsna’s Holy Names- the nectar for which we are all hankering. There is nowhere in the world such happiness can be found except at the Guru’s lotus feet. Therefore, I ask that you never push me away from your beloved lotus feet despite my feeble attempts to serve you.
I am proud to be able to call you my guru and my father. You are a living example of faith and discipline. You have given your entire life to give others pure love of God. You are bhakti personified. You are a Vaishnava and beloved servant of Srila Prabhupada, Sri Krsna, and Srimati Radharani. I am truly honored to be given your darshan and bow my head before you again and again. Therefore, I ask that you never push me away from your beloved lotus feet despite my feeble attempts to serve you.
One moments’ conversation with you can undo more suffering than millions of hours and dollars worth of psychotherapy or millions of baths in the Holy Ganga, that flows directly from Krsna’s Lotus Feet. You are
a walking, talking, laughing, and joyous touchstone of Krsna’s love. Anyone that takes full advantage of your mercy shall never return to this place of quarrel and misery. Instead they will bathe in the ocean of
unlimited bliss which is Krsna’s love. The darkness finally vanquished will be replaced by the light of Krsna’s love. None other, but the pure Vaishnava has the power to bestow such a gift. Therefore, I ask that
you never push me away from your beloved lotus feet despite my feeble attempts to serve you.
I am fallen and unqualified to receive your mercy. I have no words with which I can really glorify you. Yet I have full faith in your limitless kindness and grace. Therefore, I ask again and again that you never
push me away from your beloved lotus feet despite my feeble attempts to serve you.

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Praphupada. All glories to you.
On this auspicious day of your Vyasa puja I would like to thank you for your encouragement and association you have given me during the year. Sometimes it feels so hard with my situation at home and you always give me encouragement to try even harder. Thank you Gurudeva.

My dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisancess!
All glories to You, Srila Prabhupada and all the Vaisnavas!
All glories to Sri Sri Radha Golokananda!!
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to glorify you on this so sublime day.
” I am by nature the eternal servant of Krishna. But because of my bad fortune, I have been inimical toward Krishna from time immemorial. Identifying with my body, I have been continuously wandering in the cycle of birth and death in the material world, suffering in the burning three-fold miseries. As a results of some unimaginable good fortune, I have attained the mercy of my spiritual master, and now I know I am Krishna’s eternal servant. I am an infinitesimal spiritual being completely apart from the gross and subtle body. I have obtained the good fortune of serving the lotus feet of Sri Guru. Under his order, I am following in the footsteps to serve the lotus feet of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai and Sri Panca Tattva.”
(Pancaratra Pradipa)
I am not at all qualified to glorify a Vaisnava as yourself! It is very hard to find proper words to describe who you really are. I can only say that I am such a fortunate soul because Krishna has sent you into my life, and for eternity to be my inspiration on the way of dedicated service.
So many things in my life are easier because it is you who gives me inspiration and support all the time.
Last time you were in Slovenia, the whole pujari team was so happy cause for a long time they were waiting for a new pujari. That happened, I got initiated just because of your causeless mercy. We had seminars how to worship the Deities, and theoretically I knew, but in practical, directly in front of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai and also Sri Panca Tattva, I thought it would not be so quickly. But, what happened, one day one pujari came to me and said: ” Kamala – Manjari, tommorow you are starting with your first mangala aroti. “
Oh, Krsna Govinda, – I thought – I really do not know what that will look like!
Tommorow morning I got up early and with such jitters in me I slowly went in the direction of the pujari room. I heard your voice in the temple room, and I went to pay my obeisances to you. Your look and smile, they were meaning so much to me. They all tell me that everything will be all right. I will never forget all those moments.
My first aroti for Krsna and You Srila Gurudeva, you had kirtan. That was my best aroti. I know that I have made many mistakes, and all the time I was following instructions of the head pujari who was behind the curtain, but somehow I understood all that like your mercy and the mercy of Sri Panca Tattva.
I am very grateful to You, my dear spiritual master, for giving me mercy that I can serve Them.
Thank you for opening the door to Krsna Prema for me.
All glories to You my spiritual master! ! !
All glories to You!!

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada, All glories to Sri Sri Radha Golokananda!
A guru is Krsna’s representative to the disciple. In fact, all goswamis and other authorities advise a disciple to treat his/her guru no different then Krsna. We always aspire to learn from you and your teachings. Even if we can’t make it to the temple daily, we make sure to read the thought of the day on the darshan page of Your Holiness’s website. It is always very thought provoking and leads to some serious introspection. Reading your class or excerpts from your classes, hearing audio of your class and songs are very inspiring in this miserable material existence. In material life, we end up taking too much responsibilities, and then end up over-endeavoring ourselves day after day to meet those responsibilities, wondering everyday when all this is going to end!
It is our sincere desire that we may be with you and help you in your mission. Kindly engage us in your and Krsna’s service as you identify possibilities.
We pray to Krsna to have you as our Guru life after life.
Yours in Krsna’s service.

Gurudeva, your lotus feet are the only way by which one can attain pure devotional service. We bow to your feet with great respect. By your grace one can cross the ocean of material suffering and obtain the mercy of Lord Sri Krsna.
My Gurudeva, you are like an ocean of mercy always distributing this mercy to all the fallen conditioned souls. We pray to Lord Krsna to bestow good health and eternal grace upon our dear Gurudeva on this auspicious Vyasa puja day.

Thank you very much for everything, for all your mercy and blessings and kindness. I am forever indebted to you and beg to remain in the shelter of your lotus feet eternally.
I beg that I may always have the opportunity to render service unto you, as a menial servant. This is my sincere prayer.
You are my dear father and I love you very much. Thank you especially for all the opportunities you have given me to serve you and for forgiving me my many offences and tolerating me.
I also beg for your continuous mercy in helping Niraj progressively forward in Krsna consciousness.

Dear Srila Gurudev,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Your appearance is a greatest boon for the material world. You have saved many suffering souls and fortunately I am one of them. I always get your special mercy. You gave me shelter and protection when I was struggling in my life. This year I had the most difficult time of my life. I was struggling very hard between life and death and I was not sure that life is better for me or death. But my great fortune was there that I had your transcendental picture next to me in Bombay hospital. It was a great relief for me. Your prayer and blessings saved my life. I am useless for ISKCON movement and the most sinful and offensive person, still Mahabhagavat like your divine self wants my life. It touched me inside very deeply.
Darshan of a pure devotee is more powerful than Ganga Jal so I am looking for the day to have your darshan again. Kindly forgive for my offenses and bless me that I can have the association of devotees under the shelter of Sri Sri Radha Golokananda again.

ALL GLORIES TO SRI SRI RADHAGOPINATHJI
ALL GLORIES TO SRILA PRABHUPADA
ALL GLORIES TO SRILA GURUDEV
Dear Maharaj,
All the best of wishes for this great Vyas Pooja Day.
We neither have the literary eloquence nor the spiritual advancement necessary to sing your glories adequately. Nevertheless we shall endeavor to express our utmost subservience and devotion to Your Divine Grace in this Vyas Puja offering.
Maharaj, you have been so compassionate to us by taking us in your shelter at a very difficult time in our spiritual lives when we were orphaned by the loss of our beloved spiritual master, Srila Tamal Krishna Goswami Gurudev. We had lost all enthusiasm, direction and were utterly devastated. You rescued us, surely sent by Krishna and Srila Gurudev, to guide our rudderless boat back to the shore safely out of the storm.
You have always been there whenever we needed your help.
You gave credence to our spiritual service.
You were present at our home on so many occasions to accept our inadequate offering of service.
You did not chide us for the errors that we made.
Instead you were always there to encourage us.
You made us feel like we were doing a lot.
You have been there to guide us through material as well as spiritual difficulties.
It has always been so uplifting to be around you.
Our only sincere prayers are that you allow us to continue to serve you for as long as we are alive and thereafter too.
This is the only way we can make Srila Prabhupad happy and that will also make Lord Krishna happy too.
Please continue to give us the opportunity to serve you.
We know you are very special to Srila Prabhupad and Lord Sri Krishna and that you are being showered by Their blessings on this most auspicious day.
Please accept our most sincere dandavats from two of your most fallen servants on this day.

Dearest Gurudeva,
Please accept my obeisances in the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to His Divine Grace, Srila Prabhupada. All glories to Your Divine Grace.
Gurudeva, you are like an eternal fountain flooding everyone who meets you with happiness, purity and devotion. I have wasted precious years of my life pursuing the false notion that my happiness will be found through self-service. But everyday you live a life of self-sacrifice and show us the meaning of true happiness. At every turn in your life, you continue to radiate spiritual joy and peace.
Materially I have almost everything I could ask for, but the more I try to enjoy what I have, the deeper grows this void in my heart. Sometimes in the height of the anxieties and pleasures of my life I suddenly feel like I am falling through empty dark space, and that everything around me has turned to dust. And then, I remember you, and the thought of serving your lotus feet is the only thing that saves me from being swallowed by that empty darkness.
Now, suddenly I have gone from being your wayward daughter to being a mother and wife. Watching this brand new little person who doesn’t know anything at all, I am realizing how invaluable were the brief years I was able to spend in your association, hearing from you and watching your example of how to practice Krishna consciousness. It is my duty to pass this gift on to my family.
My real desire is to guide my family into the shelter of your instructions. The material world is like a pile of dust. It is temporary and empty. But I have faith that under the shade of your lotus feet I will find truth, eternity and happiness. There is no other place for me.
I meditate on the words of Narottama das Thakur:
My only wish is to have my consciousness purified by the words emanating from your lotus mouth. Attachment to your lotus feet is the perfection that fulfills all desires. You open my darkened eyes and fill my heart with transcendental knowledge…From you, ecstatic prema emanates; by you ignorance is destroyed…Oh master, be merciful unto us. Give us the shade of your lotus feet!
Gurudeva, on this auspicious day of your appearance, I pray to you and to Sri Sri Radha Golokananda that your words may fill my heart and guide my every action. I pray for the desire and the humility to take full shelter of your lotus feet and to bring my family with me. I pray for the purity to spread your devotion to everyone I meet, for you are a light in this darkness, you are our true hope.
Begging to remain,

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to you!
We are sorry that you are not celebrating your appearance day here in New Goloka temple this year, although we are happy that the devotees in Fiji are getting this long awaited opportunity.
Last year has been very different from previous years when I was constantly serving you by cleaning your house and cooking. Now my connection to you is more through my service to Srila Prabhupada and Sri Sri Radha Golokananda, and next year through starting to raise children.
It is different also not having you here as much, it makes a difference to hear your classes and get your personal guidance and feel your caring mood. Although I must say that I am proud of having such a spiritual father who so responsible takeing care of so many duties on behalf of his else-where transferred God-brothers, Srila Prabhupada and Krishna. Not everybody would sacrifice their personal comforts just to help this movement grow and help nourish what we have. But you are doing this and are happy internally because this is obviously pleasing to Krishna.
We pray that there is still time for us to have your association for a long time before it is time for you to join your God-brothers who have left us awhile back. Dear Gurudeva, please forgive my offenses, by nature I am not a good follower and my sickness has brought more anxiety into my life, it is not so easy for me to be a good disciple although I do chant my rounds daily. I feel there is a lot of toleration on your part and Krishna’s part because of me, but I am grateful of every little drop of Krishna consciousness I get by you and Srila Prabhupada’s mercy. I feel this will take me many lifetimes to become a devotee but nevertheless I am grateful that you have given me initiation and enabled me to endeavor on this path, especially with chanting. Thank you for your kindness.

Dear Gurudeva,
Please accept my obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to Sri Sri Radha Golokananda. All glories to Sri Sri Goloka Bihari.
This is the first year that I will not be present at your formal Vyasa Puja celebration. I am certain that it will be a glorious event full of devotion and
loving exchanges.
As I write this offering I am in Miami, Florida after the passing of my father from this world. Actually Miami is where I first met you in 1978 and it certainly seems like many lifetimes have passed since then. As is the nature of this material world so many changes have taken place and yet one thing remains constant. That of course is your steady service to Srila Prabhupada and Lord Krsna.
It is very wonderful to have had the opportunity to watch your devotional service grow and unfold before my very eyes. I remember when you first started taking disciples and now so many souls have found shelter and guidance under your expert direction. Your love for your spiritual master and god-brothers and god-sisters is encouraging to us all. You seem to always be ready to step in when the need arises, helping devotees around the world. You are certainly selfless.
How can I thank you Gurudeva for everything you have done for me? For so many years you engaged me in Krishna’s service and looked out for my spiritual well being. I can see how Krsna is working through you in so many ways. You are a stability for me in this world of chaos. Someone I can trust to be real and who can help me remember the goal of life. Thank you for all of your time and patience. Thank you for establishing New Goloka Mandir.
I pray to be able to assit you again.

I worship your lotus feet, which are the only way to obtain pure devotional service. By your blessing only is it possible to cross the ocean of material suffering and obtain the mercy of Krsna. You have opened my darkened eyes and filled my heart with transcendental knowledge.
By your kind blessing, I have mercy to serve Sri Sri Radha Golokhbihari, Radha Vrindavancandra and Krsna Kaliya.

Dear Srila Guru Maharaj,

Maharaj, on this most auspicious day of your Vyas Puja, words alone cannot glorify your unlimited mercy you had bestowed upon us by giving us shelter at your divine lotus feet. You have accepted an unworthy soul as your disciple and given us hope and guidance to liberate us from the clutches of this material world. Without your compassion and blessings, we would not have any clue of our identity and our next destination. On this auspicious occasion, we do not have the words to express our sincere gratitude for your mercy and pray to Sri Sri Radha Govind Ji to please keep our Guru Maharaj in good health and close to us.
On this special day, please forgive us for any wrong doings and we seek your blessings to progress on the path of Bhakti forever, and serve you to the best of our abilities in Krishna consciousness. Maharaj, we feel so secure under the shelter of your divine lotus feet.

Most Merciful Srila Gurudeva,
To place my head at Your Lotus feet and offer You my most humble obeisances is my greatest desire on this day.
Thank you Srila Prabhupada for training this most excellent disciple, all glories unto You.
Srila Gurudeva, You lead by setting a perfect example.
By your actions I can understand that it is possible to live a life of purity.
You carry with You a sphere of the spiritual world.
I know this is true, because I have felt the overwhelming burdens caused by absorption in things of this material world melt away simply by entering into Your presence. I have also watched as You have opened tiny little windows into the spiritual world using only thirty tiny little minutes of the morning class to do so.
Srila Gurudeva, You are faithful, You are consistent, You are loyal, You are strong.
Every day I struggle, and feel weak, and know that alone I am powerless to continue. When I hesitate, You encourage me. Though I waver, You do not give up on me. In my weakness You carry me.
You are merciful. You are merciful. You are merciful.
I am lacking all qualifications to receive Your blessings, and yet You give them. You are merciful!
I pray that someday I can bow my head not in shame, but in pure humility at Your Lotus feet
and call myself Your servant,

My dear Gurudeva was most merciful to accept me as his disciple this year and offer me my first initiation. I have found Gurudeva to be most kind, compassionate and very, very patient with all of his disciples. No

Dear Gurudeva,
Please accept my deepest respects.
All glories to you! All glories to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada. And all glories to your Lordships Sri Sri Radha Golokananda.
As we prepare to celebrate another glorious year of your appearance, another amazing year of your tireless dedication to serving your spiritual master, I cannot help but to reflect on my relationship with you.
I met you at a time when you traveled less, when you had more time locally and fewer responsibilities globally. You came to the city where I lived and there were few of us to preach to. With much humor and enthusiasm you presented the practical proposal of giving our lives to Krsna. You cleared though confusion for me and offered an invitation to ‘visit’ New Goloka.
As Bhakti Tirtha Swami says we are blessed with the best. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to serve you. Thank you unlimitedly for accepting me as your disciple with urgency. I pray that I may imbibe this mood of urgency that you have. It comes out in all that you do. You exemplify the pressing need to wake up early consistently, to get serious about real life, spiritual life. You are always willing to accept the responsibility of more and more souls who can use guidance even when it goes against your idea of how far and wide to travel or not.
Srila Prabhupada said that the standard of success is if we please God.
In this way I can see that your life is a complete success.
Thank you for being this example.
Your Ever Aspiring Servant,

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my obeisances.
All glories to your unfailing service to Srila Prabhupada and to Lord Caitanya.
You have been there for me all these years, as a guide, counselor, teacher, inspirer, example, spiritual father and friend. Our ongoing communication has meant everything to me and has helped me in so many ways.
Your letters have been a lifeline to me, connecting me not only to you, but also to all you have done, all you have taught, and all you have created such as New Goloka. They have been a great source of strength to me. Likewise our phone conversations and meetings and darshans. Thank you for all of this.
I try to be your servant, and even go ahead and sign my letters that way, but really you are serving me all the time. I don’t think I can ever catch up and serve you as much as you serve me.
I will try, I will dedicate my life to trying.
But I fail a lot, and take wrong turns just trying to make it. The forces in this world beat me up terribly. My pride says I will serve you, but my honesty says, dear Gurudeva, I still need you, please help me more.

Srila Gurumaharaja, you are very dear to Srila Prabhupada and Lord Krsna. You have an eternal relationship with Krsna by which you can deliver us back home, back to Godhead. You came to this material world to teach Krsna consciousness and deliver the fallen, insignificant living beings like myself back to the spiritual world, back to where we belong.
I feel very fortunate for all your divine instructions and your guidance in spiritual advancement. By your mercy many souls have been delivered from the path of materialism. So please make me also your servant. Only by rendering service to the spiritual master can one be awakened from the dreaming state of illusion.
On this day of your appearance I humbly bow down to your lotus feet for your mercy to be engaged as your servant so that I can serve Krsna life after life. Also I thank you for the opportunities to serve and learn from your wonderful disciples many valid points relating to Krsna consciousness. I beg you to please make me your fully surrendered servant. Krsna is revealed to one who has attained the mercy of a great devotee. When will I attain your mercy?
You are Krsna’s beloved servant, your mercy is unlimited. Only by your blessings can one be successful. I therefore offer my most humble obeisances and danvat pranam unto to your lotus feet again and again.
Srila Gurumaharaj, we are fully aware of your untiring efforts in visiting Fiji, which are a dot on the world map, to bestow your mercy not only upon your disciples, but upon all the fallen conditional souls of Fiji. How much fortunate the fallen conditional souls of Fiji are to receive your causeless mercy which arouse Krsna consciousness in them?
We are over-whelmed to learn that you will be physically present here in Fiji for your Vyasa puja. When we think of your presence here in Fiji for this year’s Vyasa puja, our eyes are filled with tears of happiness. We can feel how much love you have for your fallen disciples in Fiji. Also we remember about your determined effort and support in building up Sri Sri Radha Golokabihari temple in Suva, Fiji. We feel that Sri Sri Radha Golokabihari like to see you present here in Fiji at your most auspicious day of Vyasa puja. We pray, Srila Gurumaharaja, that your chasting glance of love melts these ice-like that see nothing without your mercy. All glories to you on your Vyasa puja again and again…

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my obeisances on this auspicious day of your Vyasa puja.
All glories to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada.
My dear Gurudeva, just thinking how special this day is, brings overwhelming joy to my heart. For me prayers were answered by the simple fact that I had the chance to meet you, and that you with your incredible love and compassion have dragged me to your lotus feet.
Every day that passes I realize more and more that is only by your mercy that I can be here in the Holy Dham of New Goloka, and somehow you have accepted me as your servant. Even though I am one of the most
unqualified and unintelligent persons, you still are accepting my service, the little I can do for you and Srila Prabhupada, and you are constantly encouraging and tolerating my attempts to serve you.
On this day I just hope that you will be very happy in the association of so many great devotees, and knowing how much the devotees in Fiji care about you gives me the assurance that you’ll have a very nice Vyasa Puja.
Gurudeva please give me your blessings so during this life and ever after I will be able to please you and serve you. Since the only chance to please Krsna is to please His devotees, I pray that some day I will be able to do so, by your mercy.
Happy Vyasa Puja Day Srila Gurudeva!!!

Srila Gurudeva, we are completely lost in this material world, but you are so kindly giving us the shelter of your devotional service. We are always thankful to you Gurudeva, for being with us and engaging us in devotional activities. We pray that you bestow intelligence and strength to enable us to render some significant service to you.

Dearest Srila Gurudev,
Please accept my obeisances. All glories to Your Divine Grace! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
There aren’t enough words to describe how fortunate I am to have you as my spiritual master. It is nothing short of a miracle that Krishna brought me to the shelter of your lotus feet when I was so young. I was quite naive then and I had no idea how significant it was but now I can wholeheartedly say that, Gurudev, you totally saved me from having to live a hellish material existence devoid of knowledge of Krishna. I shudder to think what may have become of me had you not pulled me out of the ocean of material suffering and into the lifesaving boat of New Goloka Dhama! Thank you!
Sometimes I get into slumps and don’t come to the temple everyday like I should. For that I beg your forgiveness and pray for the strength and determination to be an obedient disciple. This year in particular I realized that if I stay away from the temple and from your association I suffer so much. Krishna consciousness is supposed to be ever fresh and blissful, so I think that my enthusiasm for serving you should also be ever fresh and blissful. Every day when I bow my head before the Lord I offer my respectful obeisances to you and glorify you because without your grace I cannot make any advancement.

Therefore, I should always remember and praise the spiritual master. At lease three times a day I should offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of my spiritual master”
I hope you have a very happy appearance day!!! We will be missing and looking forward to celebrating next year’s Vyasa puja with you here at home in New Goloka. Thank you very much for being so kind and loving. You are my spiritual father and my children’s loving grandfather.

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisancess. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Dear Gurudeva, now I will try to write an offering letter for your Sri Vyasa puja. I just want to tell you that I don’t know how to write letters, so please forgive me.
Last week I visited my mother, and my family. My brother said that I don’t send to them a lot of letters, and when I do they all seem the same .So they know already what will be in the letter. So I will try that this letter for you look different than others.
Dear Gurudeva Today is your birthday (is difficult to think today I know in 2 month, but I have to write like this ), I wish you HAPPY BIRTH DAY.
Now the difficulties starting, because I don’t know what to write next. I don’t write to you as often as I should, I don’t know what you know about me (if you have any spy here), but I want to tell you I am not that bad, well at least not that bad as they say about me (your spys) and to tell you that lately I miss you, not so much to come for your Sri Vyasa Puja, but that my chanting is improving ( I chant 16 rounds) and that I started to take shelter of the holy name.
Dear Gurudeva, I am sorry that I am a difficult disciple, with so much problems, I don’t want to ask you to forgive to me, but I want to tell you that I am working that at least I will be doing what I promise to you when you gave to me initiation.
I was just thinking that when in the past you saw me that I always was giving you a pain in the head, so I pray to Krsna when you will see me next time that you will be happy with me in your heart, not to tell me that I am OK, just to give me hope (to encourage me so I will not bloop) but that I will really be OK.
I wish you a happy birthday, I heard that you will have your Vyasa puja in Fiji ( I hope no body will read my letter out loud, because it is so bad) I think that it will be a very nice Vyasa Puja because you told that in Fiji devotees are very nice.
Your disciple,
Manmohini
.Dearest Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to you on this auspicious day of your appearance!
On this special day of your Vyasa Puja I cannot help but feel an emptiness inside being that I cannot be with you, but I do remember initiation like it was yesterday and so your instructions to me makes the separation less painful, knowing that you, as my real father have been so merciful on all your Vaisnava children. Because of this the preaching here in Athens
is always blissful, especially with the New Vrndavana devotees who come through once a week to set up on the campus green. This gives continued strength to this child of yours to continue trying to give Krsna to
others, knowing that I am never alone, that you are always with me.
Your growing child in Krsna’s service,

Jaya Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my obeisances. All glories to your service.
I hope that one day I will be as devoted as you are…
Please let me know if I can give you some assistance.

Dear Bir Krishna Goswami maharaja,
Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and all his devoted followers.
We can see ships sailing in the ocean. Some can be very beautiful, big and some small and slow, but they are all in the same water. They all have a captain and he is leading them on the shore. His followers just have to trust and obey him and in this way all are safe, even during the storms.
You are our captain in this ocean of material existence. Like light of hope in the dark showing the path to liberation. You are always ready to help anyone in all circumstances and pleasing Srila Prabhupada is your only intention. We are very fortunate to know you and to have contact with you. All glories to you.
With your blessings Krishna accepts our devotional service and it is your mercy that we are even given a chance to serve Krishna and His devotees. You are like a father standing behind us and encouraging us to please Krishna better.
Your message always comes in the time when we need inspiration. I remember my hard times when I didn’t know where to turn and what is right. And than I went on darshan with you and you asked me to write you regularly. Immediately all answers were available for me and all my service was done with blessings. You have lightened my path.
We can never return to Srila Prabhupada as much as he gave to us and I know I can never return to you as much as you are giving me. But I want to do my best to serve you and to show at least some gratitude for all you are giving.
With desire to please you,

Dear Gurudev,
Please receive my humble obeisance.
All glory to You and Srila Prabhupada!
In my spiritual and every day life remains the emptiness after Bhakti Tirtha Guru Maharaj departed. The last Gurudevs instruction for me was to find a shelter of lotus feet of one of the spiritual masters inside of ISKCON.
In the summer Camp Croatia 2005, Your first lecture started with beautiful bhajans, inspired me to ask for Your leadership for my further spiritual life and for the passing of the materialistic ocean of ignorance.
Thank You for accepting me with your gladness and carefulness. For Your divine day of Vyasa Puja I wish that The Divine Couple gives You much strength and patience to lead such a fallen down soul as I am.
I wish to hear many of Your wonderful lectures and instructions on my way back home and in achievement of pure delivered serving.
With love,
Your servant,

My dear Spiritual Father,
Please accept my most respectful obeisancies. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to you on this auspicious day of your appearance.
There is a popular song with a chorus, “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for.” The very thing that distinguishes humans from animals is an ability to search for a deeper meaning for life. That deeper meaning is
what I have been always looking for. Even when I was a child I would climb on the roof of our house to see how the sun would set, watch far away and think that somewhere there in the distance must be something more than the very life I was living. That something remained like a silent, unspoken, mysterious promise and as I grew up I was trying to search for it in different places. There was no one to show me the way so I got lost and made bad choices in my life – and found nothing but repeated disappointments.
Life became smaller and smaller and meaningless as such. Even when I first came in contact with Krishna consciousness, basically I was on my own. I picked up a smorgasbord of different rituals without thinking about their meaning so much. Spirituality was just an outward dress to masquerade the fact that I was still the same, the world around me was the same and I was not getting anywhere – not until I met you. Through your association, instructions and personal example the song I am singing is gradually reformulating. You are continuously showing others what is essential in Krishna consciousness and where to focus. I am all the time learning to appreciate your devotion, dedication and determination more and more. Finally I have found what I’m looking for.
One night I was dreaming that I was walking through a big wild city that offered all imaginable and unimaginable variety of sense gratification. However, I did not feel disturbed because you were walking ahead of me and I simply consciously and carefully placed my feet in your footsteps. Suddenly I lost sight of you, became fearful and started to run around searching for you. Eventually I noticed that you were waiting for me and had waited all the time. Then we continued our journey through the very worst districts of the city, but there was no fear anymore since I was safely under your guidance and protection and there was no separation between us.
One step, two steps, three steps
In the abode of the Lord
Every step is a dance
I am a child just learning to walk
One word, two words, three words
In Goloka the cowherd boys play
Every word is a song
I am deaf and dumb just learning to talk
Master, I am watching you
And you are showing
What to do
Step by step
I lie down at your feet
My heart like a desert
But you are planting a seed
To grow and bloom
In your healing words
Is everything I need
And all longing
All hankering
All yearning
Becomes meaningful
In eternity

Please accept our humble obeisances at your lotus feet. We are all slowly progressing in the spiritual path by your blessings. You are working tirelessly to spread the glories of Lord Krishna and preach the Absolute truth in this country, Europe, and farther places like Fiji. You have been working so hard to preach to the people of Fiji, and complete the largest ISKCON temple outside India in Suva, Fiji. What a wonderful service to the mission of Srila Prabhupad?
As is evident from so many demoniac and terrorist acts that are taking place around the world affecting so many innocent human lives, this age of Kali is degrading exactly as was predicted in Srimad Bhagavatam. In the name of religion, people are acting irreligiously with demoniac mentality. The only hope, that can save people from this, is to take shelter of a Guru like you who has completely dedicated his life for spreading Krishna consciousness. It is certainly by Srila Prabhupad’s mercy and divine arrangement, you are in a key leadership role in GBC to tackle the various problems.
We are very fortunate to have you as our spiritual master. Many a time, we have observed that by the power of your eloquent expression of the message of Lord Krishna, people including the first time listeners become very attached to Lord Krishna.
On the auspicious day of your appearance, we pray Lord Krishna to bestow His mercy upon you, so that you will be able to lead many people in to the spiritual and devotional path, and help them to perfect this human form of life..
Hare Krishna

My dear father Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my most respectful obeisances in the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to you on this most auspicious day of your appearance! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
I was floating down the river of life, caught in the current of this world. In the river, I met the guru, you, and you will lead me to the other shore. I place my burden at your feet, who is the representation of the Lord of the Universe, who accomplishes everything. Krishna knows the past, present and future, for some good deed done by me he brought you to me.
You keep telling me that all that has to be done is to surrender my acts to the Divine Louts Feet. I now know that but still forget that you are the bridge that connects me to that louts feet.
When I see you I try my best to behave, think before I blabber rubbish from my mouth, but when you see me in all the mess you see a fallen soul that you are willing to guide, I try to touch only the dust of your feet making sure not to touch and dirty your feet, but you reach forward and hug me, cleansing me of my sins.
I get entangled with material maya, but you are always there to hold my hand and guide me. I often feel that receiving your repeated darshan is the result of some long-past pious activity or austerity and try to serve you but how can a son ever serve a father enough.
The pure devotees of the Lord have no business in this world, but you are here saving the lost souls like me and showing the way back to the shelter of Krishna’s lotus feet. You are ever-humble and self-effacing and will never claim yourself as a great personality, not even in times when it would be just and we your disciples know that you a great personality.
I always feel that Krishna consciousness is a vast and complicated science, and I am just a fool lacking the piety and intelligence to really understand it. However I feel confident that if I can manage to remain fixed in your service throughout my life, always endeavoring to perfect my adherence to your instructions, Srila Prabhupada and Krishna will nonetheless bestow upon me their favor to better serve you. Ultimately I have but one prayer to Gaura Nitai, and that is to allow me to become your pure servant.

Dear Bir Krsna Maharaja!!!
Please accept our most humble obeisances!!!!
All glories to this wonderful day of Your Appearance!!!!!
All glories to You!
All glories to Your Srila Prabhupada!!!!
This is a wonderful moment in the year, when we can glorify You, as much as we can, and not to be chastised by others! Yes, it is Your Day, Your Vyasa Puja Day, so we wish to say some glorifications, as much as our limited words and minds can describe! You are the best uncle EVER ! The best we can ever wished and dreamed of! So, simple, but so dear to Lord Krsna!!!! By Your causeless mercy we came to New Goloka, and spent the most wonderful 8 months there serving you, and Sri Sri Radha Golokanada!
Whenever it was hard for us, whenever we had some purifying moments, you were there to support us. And not just that, you were there, to say many nice words, which makes every problem very quickly go away. You are such a devotee that everyone likes it, and wishes to know you, and to take shelter.
As You, and us, You as our uncle, and we, your little nephews, and not so important devotees in this world, we dare to say that we are very grateful to Krsna, to meet You in this lifetime, to serve You, to be with You so many days, and doing so many other things.
You, let us serve You so nicely, despite our so many faults, and mistakes that we have made. But by Your kind care, we grow a little more, and have a possibility to learn from them (our mistakes), and to improve in serving You, and other devotees!
Still, today, we quote so many things that you said, or you have done, that we saw the best ever in You always!
Thank You for being so patient with these two fools, training them, although they were always complaining for this and that!!!!
Thank You for being so merciful and always coming to our little shed in the middle of the forest. Thank You for being so understandable. You always show by example, and that is what we always appreciate so much, and that is what took our hearts when we saw that.
Dear Bir Krsna Maharaja, we wish so much to be in Your association somehow again, and feel the sweetness of serving a very advanced devotee, and very dear devotee of the Lord. We know and we are so eager, that if we get this association again, we can just be closer to Krsna. If we do not come to Your Feet again, than we will be in the failure for sure.
Bowing down to the Lotus Feet of Radha Krsna, we are both very much grateful for meeting You in this life time, and for coming close to You. We hope that one day when we need to go from this world, beautiful Radha and Krsna, hopefully will remember at least that one moment of our honesty in the service for You, and that we will be able to get Their mercy in any form.
Thank You So So Much For Everything Dear Maharaja,
We Will Never Forget Your Kindness, You, Yourself ! ! !
We Wish You A Very Happy and Very Joyfully Vyasa Puja Day in the middle of all these wonderful devotees!!!!!
All Glories to You!!!

Dear Bir Krishna Maharaja,
Please accept my most humble obeisances unto the dust of your divine lotus feet. All glories unto you, on this most auspicious occasion of your Vyasa-Puja. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
The celebration of the appearance day of the spiritual master is a very special and important occasion. While writing the offering to the spiritual master, and while hearing the offerings of other devotees, one realizes the fact that we are able to go on with our devotional practices only by his mercy and the mercy of other Vaishnavas. Thus our appreciation and the affection increase, and we reconfirm the commitment in our hearts to carry out his instructions and serve his mission, despite all the challenges that we constantly face in this world.
Indeed I am so blessed to glorify such a great Vaisnava like yourself. The unfortunate thing is that I am so fallen and dull that I do not even qualify a little bit to sing your glories. What to speak of myself, I am sure that even very intelligent brains will run out of words in its several attempts to glorify your divine personality.
Maharaj, if I have moved a bit forward in Bhakti, it is only by your divine association. Seeing your firm determination in carrying Jagad Guru, Srila Prabhupada’s mission, really inspires conditioned souls like me to be fixed on the path of Bhakti.
Maharaj, I wish you a happy Vyasa Puja and a long of spreading Mahaprabhu’s sankirtan movement to every town and every village. Please always bless me so that I can remain fixed in the service to my dear Gurudev and Srila Prabhupada.
All glories unto you, all glories to my dear Gurudev and Srila Prabhpada. All and all glories to Sri Sri Radha Golokabihariji.
Yours Most Lowly Servant,

Dearest Gurudev,
Please accept my humble obeisances; all glories to Srila Prabhupada!
I wish you the best of birthdays this year. I wish that the love of all your disciples, well wishers and god brothers would sum up, so that you could feel its warmth in your heart on this day. May Krishna bless you for all the guidance you are so mercifully giving us. The way I should express my love and gratitude is to follow your instructions, always. But although I am not really doing so yet, please know that these are not just empty words either. When Sankrsan Prabhu was in Tartu, he said: “Don’t be a burden on your Gurudev. You don’t want him to take another birth here because of you, do you? So follow his instructions nicely.” And I mean to do so. Seeing a smile on your face is everything. May Krishna take care of you! Dear spiritual father,
We offer our most respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet on this most auspicious occasion of your Vyasapuja. Your lotus feet are like a shelter in storm rain. They give these wandering pilgrims much-needed protection from the relentless onslaught of maya. It is our extreme great fortune, which has, by the grace of Sri Sri Radha Golokhbihari, brought us into your most exalted association.
Unfortunately, we are so fallen that we are unable to take advantage of your pure association. For all of this and much more, we are eternally indebted to you. We therefore, do humbly submit ourselves at your lotus feet, for you are fully qualified to distribute transcendental knowledge and pure love of Krsna bhakti.

“………………Out of the many millions of wandering living entities, one who is very fortunate gets an opportunity to associate with a bona fide spiritual master by the grace of Krsna. By the mercy of both Krsna and the spiritual master, such a person receives the seed of the creeper of devotional service.” (Cc. Madhya 19.151)
Maharaj, you have been so compassionate to accept a very sinful and fallen soul like me as your disciple. Though I do not have the quality of a devotee, you have always kept me close to your heart and given me the opportunity to serve and progress in Krishna Consciousness. The special memories, which I will always cherish in my life are when you stayed with my family for 3 days in Labasa back in 2002 and at that time I was not initiated. In 2003 by your grace I was initiated at my residence together with my wife, Kunti Devi Dasi on the final day of a week long Bhagwat Katha program. During your last visit to Fiji, we had the opportunity to perform foot washing at our residence. Maharaj, I will always remain indebted to you for taking responsibility to deliver me from the cycle of birth and death and on this auspicious occasion, I humbly seek your blessing to serve you sincerely in Krishna consciousness. I feel that I am one of the very fortunate souls to have a bona-fide and very caring spiritual master like you.
I beg to remain your servant forever.

Dear Bir Krishna das Goswami,
Hare Krishna! I hope this meet you in the good health. My best congratulations on your birthday! Thank you very much for that you always have arranged time to meet me during your visits in Finland, for your spiritual support to all my family: for my daughters, my son-in-the-law and me, for your beautiful speech at my daughter´s wedding in North-Carolina, for your kind advices and your patience to answer to my questions and for everything, everything else. I appreciate that all very much.
Have a very nice birthday there in lovely Fiji!

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to you on this most auspicious day of your appearance. I pray to Krsna to empower me to appropriately glorify you.
Every day I read your thought of the day on your website and I am always amazed at your instructions. They are always so perfect.
You ask us to chant japa intensely with the heart, you ask us to focus the mind on the sound vibration otherwise we will still be neophytes in 30 years, you ask us to read Srila Prabhupada’s books otherwise we will not develop our intelligence, and you tell us that everything belongs to Krishna and that we must use everything for Him, only then are we properly situated.
All these instructions you give to us, these perfect instructions you pass on to us from your perfect master and I wonder how can I ever repay the debt I owe to you for guiding us in this world. And these instructions you not only give to us but you walk the talk, and live them perfectly every day, just for our benefit so that we may understand our real identity.
Gurudeva, thank you so much guiding us, for allowing me to have your association whether that be by allowing me to serve you, or by your kind and guiding words via email or by your website darshan. My only wish is that I become more surrendered so that I may follow your most perfect instructions more and more every day. And that I may more appropriately glorify you in future.

Dear Gurudev, spiritual instruction is given by Guru, and to maintain it is the duty of the disciple, anyway but your physical presence with us in Labasa is something really different, and that is what we are all missing.

How can I thank you enough for all the unconditional love that you are giving me despite my faults and shortcomings? This love is changing my heart and obliging me to work very very hard to become able to give out that same kind of love to others, who are suffering in this material world.
Thank you for accepting me despite my bad qualities and encouraging me to become better by your personal example.
Thank you so much for engaging me in your personal service. You said jokingly that I had to be your slave until you die, but I want to become your eternal slave. The service for you is all that I have. Without it, there is no meaning to my life. I beg you to always keep me at your lotus feet and let me also become a part of Srila Prabhupada’s eternal entourage.
On this auspicious day I beg for your blessings to be able to touch the hearts of at least some of the suffering people and care for them and love them and bring them under your guidance and protection.
I beg you to become fixed in your service and to really please you somehow.
Your thankful servant,

Dear Guru Maharaja!!!
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
All glories to You!
The day of Your appearance is for all Your disciples a day of great mercy Sri Sri Radha Krishna. We wish You a lot of health and we are sincere gratitude for Your blessings, which are the only way for our spiritual progress. Our life in this material world is much better, since we bowed in front of Your lotus feet for the first time. We want to do this again and again and again.
Let we, Your disciples, be faithful servants to You, accept and follow Your instruction as our soul and life, and love You in the way we love Krishna.
Your Prithi dasi and Tatjana
Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet. All glories to Srila Gurudev. All glories to Srila Prabhupad.
It wasn’t too long ago when I came to see Srila Gurudeva and before this time, I have wondered where my siksa will come from. The physical departure of my Guru Maharaj, Srila Bhakti Tirtha Swami Maharaj, brought the reality of his physical absence. I do have difficulty finding ‘someone in the mode of Srila Bhakti Tirtha Swami Maharaj’. I didn’t worry about this in any way, as I feel very confidence about the legacy of Srila Prabhupad and his foremost disciples; and more so, the need for me to serve my spiritual master, knowingly fully well that he is always available, and I only need to avail myself to his unrelenting service to Srila Prabhupad.
In spite of all of these, the need to serve a walking Bhavagat, cannot be compromised. But still, I feel the need to get close to someone I cannot identify. The choices are numerous and there is a need for me to open up to them all. After my darshan in New Goloka recently, and listening to Gurudev speak on varying topics, my illusion faded away and I felt very much at home. I felt once again like in the presence of my diksa. Thank you for your love, compassion and understanding. You remain our hope for crossing over this illusory ocean of birth and death.
Srila Gurudev, your love and compassion that knows no bounds or restriction to class, creed, color or any other distinction is of particular relevance to our past, present and future, as individuals and as a community. Please kindly bestow your mercy upon me, so that my stone hardened heart can become soften and symbolic of your divinity. Only by your grace and compassion can I become relevant in Srila Prabhupad’s eternal mission.
Praying that Srila Gurudev bestows his mercy upon this fallen and reckless soul.

Please accept my most humble obeisances.
Now the time has come where I have to offer a little from my poor heart and mind.
First of all I want to thank you, Gurudeva, for the sweet kindness that you are always showing.
Especially I felt this in the year of 2004, when we met in Mayapur, and we had a lovely darshan.
I was there together with You and my godbrothers and godsisters, and after the darshan in our Mayapur Candrodaya Mandir you invited me and another Prabhu over to Yoga-pitha, to visit the samadhi of Bhaktivinoda Thakur and the temple.
First we entered the main temple and afterwards Maharaja took me to the samadhi where we offered some rupees to Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur. Gurudeva was making obeisances to Bhaktivinoda Thakur and after this You walked around the samadhi three times.
I never saw anyone do this before and I got very happy to see what Gurudeva was doing. And I followed in your footsteps while inside of me I heard a voice saying that this is how it is to be done.
After this day, if I come to a samadhi, it might be that I have not anything to offer, but one thing that I will do is – offer obeisances and walk around the samadhi three times. Gurudeva’s teachings are good for me and give me a better life. And as I do the parikrama I am thinking: “This was what I learned from my spiritual master, and he is great”.
I also want to thank You thousands and thousands of times, for giving me the pranama-mantra. I can happily chant this mantra every morning before Mangala-arati, and come in contact with You and Krishna.
In this way I will be able to develop my love for Guru and Krishna, come to a higher platform of love, and become re-established in my original position when returning home back to Godhead.
I am also very grateful to you for so many other things that you are doing for me. Thank you for everything, Bir Krishna Goswami.

By accepting me as a disciple you have bestowed causeless mercy upon me which I am not worthy of. On this auspicious occasion of your Vyasa puja, I find myself incapable of glorifying Your Lordship, who is perfect in every way.
Srila Gurudeva, I can’t even dare to realize how merciful you have been to a wretched soul like me. Words written are of no standard to glorify your exalted position. It is very difficult for a jiva like me. Who has sinned a lot to understand your transcendental activities.
Please Srila Gurudeva, always keep me under the shelter of your divine lotus feet.

O Gurudeva, you are the divine light, without you, I would have been whispering my rounds in the dead of the night.
Gurudeva, observing you makes me believe in the beauty of the soul, so many exalted qualities shine forth.
Gurudeva, you are so pure, your standards so high. Sometimes I want to hide away so covered, I feel in my little world.

“I am a tiny part and parcel of the Supreme Lord and I am always and in every way His eternal servant. As I am always hoping for His mercy and kindness, I offer myself to His most dear servitor, my spiritual master.”
Your auspicious Appearance Day is reminding me about your mission; helping devotees and developing our community more caring and loving. This is a big challenge and giving us opportunity to be part of your mission. You are showing your love and compassion saying that the most important thing we can do for Krishna is to care for others.
This day is also reminding me about your positive, ever-encouraging nature and your ability to engage us in devotional service. This is very touching and serving you means always progress in our life.
And this day is reminding me how you take shelter of the Holy Names. Your chanting is filled with taste and love. This immediately inspires me to quote from CC, Antya 15.24:
“After speaking in this way, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu caught hold of the necks of Ramananda Raya and Svarupa Damodara. Then the Lord said: “My dear friends, please listen to Me, What shall I do, Where shall I go? Where can I go to get Krishna? Please both of you, tell me how I can find Him.”
Trying to take your instructions more to my life and at the same time missing personal service for you, I am wishing you very Happy Appearance Day!

Dear Guru Maharaj,
Please accept our most humble obeisances on this most auspicious day of your Vyasapuja. All glories to Your Divine Grace.
We are thinking that you are so merciful to save us from this material existence and it is only by your causeless mercy that we can get out of this material life.
Guru Maharaj, you are fully empowered by senior devotees, Srila Prabhupad and by Lord Sri Krsna to spread Krsna consciousness all over the world. This we can see by your outstanding success in whatever you do-whether it is preaching and making new devotees, opening new temples, distributing books or studying further. You are also setting perfect example for us by being so disciplined in Krsna consciousness. You can make the whole world Krsna conscious by your purity.
This year is also auspicious because it commemorates more than a quarter century of your sannyasa order/ renouncing the comforts of your family life, you sacrificed your life to expedite Srila Prabhupadas desire of a world-wide movement. Today you have hundreds of disciples dependent on you for their spiritual well being. What a mammoth task of looking after so many individuals. Only you could do it ever so expertly.
I thank you for being such an affectionate and caring father for all of us. Our greatest honor in life is that you have accepted us as your disciples. We pray that Sri Sri Radha Golokhbihari bless you with a very blissful and enjoyable day.

My Dearest Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept our humble obeisances at your lotus feet on this most auspicious occasion on your Vyasa Puja day. All glories, all glories to Srila Gurudeva.
Being a disciple of yours, we have got an opportunity to write a Vyasa Puja offering to you. We indeed feel proud and thankful for this opportunity.
This year was very special for us because we received your mercy in the form of initiation. We thank you for accepting us as your disciples and guiding us towards Krishna. It is very true that without a spiritual master one cannot make any spiritual advancement in Krishna consciousness.
Transcendental life begins when one accepts a bona fide spiritual master. The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna clearly states that this process of knowledge is the actual path.
We are looking forward to seeing you in October during your Vyasa Puja in Labasa, which is also known as Prema Bhakti Dhama.
Yours fallen souls,

Dear Guru Maharaj,
During your last visit to Fiji, by your mercy, I being such a sinful and fallen soul, was able to take prasadam with you at one of your disciples’ place. O noble of all souls, you gave me the same love, care and attention as the other sons’ and daughters’ of yours present there that day.
I was immediately attracted to your sinless personality, full of divine attraction. What you spoke to me was like getting instructions from heaven, you undoubtedly are a divine force with a transcendental body, speech and mind that has Lord Caitanya’s mercy to take us back home, back to Godhead.
Saying that, if I’m to choose between Krsna and you, than I would surely want to be your servant always, for I know without you, I will never get the mercy of Lord Sri Krsna. The separation from you by the geographical isolation is hard to bear at times and makes me completely emotional.
Gurudev, you will always remain my most beloved and worshipable Lord, and I thank you millions for giving me Krsna prema. Writing this, I offer my full respectful obeisances unto the divine lotus feet of His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada by whose mercy and divine appearance on this sinful planet, I have been able to take full shelter surrendering myself under your lotus feet. Jai Prabhupada.
I beg to be your servant always,

Dear Srila Bir Krsna Goswami,
All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to your divine Vyasa Puja!
You are a gift from Srila Prabhupada to deliver the conditioned souls.
Such great souls as you fill up this material and dry world with the spiritual nectar of Krsna consciousness. I beg for your mercy so some day I can serve Srila Prabhupada’s mission sincerely, under the guidance of the advanced devotees as yourself. For the conditioned souls, it is more important to get the mercy of the pure devotees than to get the mercy of Krsna Himself, because since a pure devotee accept somebody, Krsna is forced to accept such degraded soul for love to His devotee.
I am grateful for everything that you have done for me and Ramesha, and I pray to Krsna that your lotus feet will be the shelter of my heart.
Please forgive my offences.

I offer my respectful obeisances to you for opening my eyes, which were blinded by the darkness of ignorance, with the torchlight of knowledge.
You are kindly preaching the message of Lord Caitanya and delivering the people of Western countries, Europe, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, India, Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, and other communities in the whole world. We are very grateful for your service to Lord Sri Krishna. I cannot understand how you can travel to so many countries without being troubled by bodily pains and hardships. Your determination for helping others to advance in devotional service is the reason for these trips. May Lord Sri Krishna bless you with good health and spiritual strength.
Chanting the holy name, dancing in ecstasy, singing, and playing musical instruments, you are always happy with the sankirtana movement of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. We thank you for your service to Lord Radha-Golokananda and for guiding your disciples. By your mercy, we are able to progress spiritually. Your service to the whole world is evidenced by your frequent trips to India, Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Italy, Finland, Sweden and other countries. You are a great leader in the ISKCON movement and helping the whole world to advance in Krishna consciousness. Your true belief in Srimati Radharani and Sri Krishna is giving unlimited benefits for spreading Lord Caitanya’s message of pure devotional love of Bhagavan Sri Krishna. Your dedication, service, and guidance to several Krishna temples are well appreciated by the leading authorities in the ISKCON movement. You have worked very hard and you are responsible for all of the improvements in New Goloka. We are greatly benefited by your association, discourses, and melodious bhajans. Your kind words have been a source of strength and inspiration in uplifting us in the path of devotional service and serving Lord Sri Krishna. We are most happy to chant the following Mahamantra:

May Lord Sri Krishna and Srimati Radharani show their mercy and support to your beloved mission of spreading the Hari Nama sankirtan in this world. Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my most respectful obeisances on this most auspicious day of your Appearance.
I want to say from the bottom of my heart “Thank you so much for everything that you have done and continue to do for me.” You are my genuine father and real well-wisher. You have given me such a degree of spiritual protection, that although many difficult challenges have arisen in my life, I still feel very charmed to have your association. I often wonder what on earth or in the universe I could have done to have the benefit of so much of your personal association. I have not come up with any answers yet, but I am very, very grateful nonetheless.
I wish that I could repay you somehow. In this last year, my material duties in life have increased exponentially, and all my desires for big preaching plans seem impossible. However, I know that still there are unlimited opportunities to serve you, all that I require is the right consciousness. Dear Father, please help me to please you by prioritizing my sadhana, by being loyal, faithful and determined, for although you give us endless amounts of mercy and attention, it seems that this is all you really ask for in return. Please help me to become fixed in the mood of service to you.

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my obeisances! All glories to you! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
You are always so kind and compassionate!
You know how much we depend on you and just like the children, always expect you to deal with our problems, making sure we know that “everything is going to be all right”. And, even when we are so illusioned, acting foolishly and don’t know what we want to do with our lives, you are there to tell us what “good devotees” we are.
Some of us just learned how to take away from you and giving doesn’t seem to ever become part of our practice.
The enjoying mentality we have is very deeply rooted. Maybe we should try harder…
You are teaching us through your relationship with Srila Prabhupada, showing us what the first class disciple should be like.
Your sincerity and dedication to your spiritual master is something we need to aspire for.
The relationship you have with your God-brothers is another good example to follow. It’s always nice to hear your appreciation for the service they render to our beloved grandfather (although, it’s awkward seeing you taking a humble position and praising others, as if they are much greater than you). I hope that we can develop such a sense of humility.
You are encouraging your disciples to become good householders and parents. Such a great responsibility; so much to learn about.
It appears as really hard to be a good parent, to set a perfect example. But, you don’t have that problem, although we are so many, taking shelter at your feet. You are concerned about our welfare more than our own parents are, and still, we are sometimes so rebellious and non-appreciative.
Thank you for tolerating us and keeping us on “Your lists”!

All glories to you!
Srila Gurudeva, thank you for protecting, guiding, teaching, and inspiring me day after day. Thank you for bringing Srila Prabhupada to life through the stories and bits of anecdotal wisdom you so freely share with everyone. Thank you for bringing a sense of peace and comfort to our temple community after tumultuous winds had swept through.
Whenever things start to seem too difficult, we can remember the words of encouragement you so kindly and mercifully bestow upon your unqualified servants. Whenever things start to seem too easy, we can remember the words of caution you have spoken to us, so that we will not underestimate Krishna’s servant Maya.
Your steadfast dedication to Srila Prabhupada’s society is inspiring, and every member of ISKCON is indebted to you for the many years you have served this family. Your concern for all Vaisnavas and Vaisnavis, and your commitment to cultivating loving relationships with all the devotees serves as an example for all of us. Your concern for the welfare of each of your disciples surpasses any ordinary paternal watchfulness and is why we so lovingly call you “Gurudeva”.
Thank you for pulling me out of the dark contaminated waters of material existence, and thank you for continuing to pull me back every time I slip back in!! I pray that one day I can serve you with the love and devotion you have shown Srila Prabhupada.

Dear Bir Krishna Maharja,
Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila
Prabhupada. All glories to this auspicious day of your appearance.
I feel very fortunate to have grown up near this temple of New Goloka.
The main reason is that you are always here. It is rare to find a temple where a sannyasi stays for long periods of time. You really care about the growth and sustenance of this community. Because of your care and attention, things are flourishing so nicely here.
You have inspired me very much in Krishna consciousness through your lectures and your own perfect example. I probably don’t appreciate enough what an impact you have had on my spiritual life while growing up. You were always (and still are) so loving and kind to the children. I have fond memories of chanting japa in front of you (with Radhe and Amrta). After the program you would give sweets to the children who chanted the whole japa period without getting up.
Thank you for inspiring me in Krishna consciousness. Please bless me that I can be of some service to Srila Prabhupada and this movement.

Dearest Guru Maharaj,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupad. All glories to Srila Gurudev and to you, Guru Maharaj.
Please accept my humble attempt to glorify your magnanimous personality. You stand tall amongst our ISKCON generals and courageously shield us from the ill effects of this dangerous Kali-yuga.
We consider ourselves very fortunate to have yourself as your guru, from whom we can learn how to perfect our lives. You are serving Srila Prabhupad with great enthusiasm and love and we beg to assist you in that service in the right mood. You are the true representative of Vyasadeva and your life teachings reflect your genuine devotion to Srila Prabhupad and Lord Krsna.
You are well versed in all the scriptures and your Bhagvatam classes are full of transcendental knowledge and deep spiritual realizations.
A pure devotee is like a place of pilgrimage. From the day you moved into your room at our new temple, you brought with you, Sri Sri Radha Gopinath and all their servants and full service began at our temple until the opening. We achieved things that had previously seemed insurmountable.
Thank you for giving us your mercy and your guidance. Radha Karuna worked very hard to prepare for your dinner during your last visit and as a result, got the unseen mercy of serving a pure Vaisnava, thus getting initiation from you. I saw and realized the power of a pure Vaisnava sincerely.

My dear spiritual master Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my obeisances on this most auspicious day of your appearance.
You are such an important personality in my life. Although I have not corresponded with you as frequently as of late, you should know that I am always thinking of you. When I am happy I think of you. When I am in the depths of sadness I think of you. When I am excited I think of you. Srila Gurudeva, you remain always in my heart.
Quite often my youthful mind wants to jump up and take part in massive projects and take on the world. But you are always trying to get me to first perform simple daily austerities. You tell me to rise early, chant my rounds, control my senses, and set a good example. I still struggle with these simple austerities, which somehow in Kali Yuga don’t always seem so simple. But Prabhupada and Krishna are so kind that whatever endeavor I put forward, They make up for what I lack.
Lately it seems that many of the great souls have left this planet to go and serve elsewhere. How is it that Srila Prabhupada was just here walking among us? How is it that Bhakti Tirtha Maharaj was just here conversing and dancing among us? How is it that they have left, but I am still here without them?
In this world where we are all hanging on the precipice of danger at every step, only the Vaishnavas are our true friends. Our only shelter is to associate with the Vaishnava’s through chanting the Holy Names and by serving their lotus feet. Srila Gurudeva, I am so small and insignificant in this crazy world. Please help me to be humble. Please help me to chant purely. Please let me serve you.
Let me serve; Let me serve; Let me serve…

For many years now you have been leading us. By your example New Goloka has grown into a large community of very nice devotees. My hope is that we can grow in a functional and healthy way and be more of an example for our whole society.
This year we must thank you for your kind- hearted leadership when Our Lordships Sri Sri Radha Radha Kanta were in danger, as well as the lives of Their devoted servants. You quickly and adeptly took charge of raising funds to help the devotees and to feed the conditioned souls with Krsna Prasad. In a world filled with demoniac politicians and leaders that prey on their subjects and are profiteers at the expense of the people, your magnanimous example is even that much more rare and heartwarming.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you and to serve the devotees. Being a part of Srila Prabhupada’s family is the one salvation from this burning material life. You are very kind to include us…thank you for this chance.
As always I remain…

My dear Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances in the dust of your lotus feet!
All glories to you dear Gurudeva! All glories to your divine apperance day!
I was reading that even Krishna himself worships the lotus feet of such great Vaisnava like yourself. The most wonderful thing I find is that people really love you. I could see that in New Goloka last year not only they love you our spiritual master so much, but also love and care for each other. This attracted my heart so much to this place, New Goloka and to Radha Golokananda and his devotees.
I wish that this mood, your divine loving mood, will spread all over theworld. It can attract every one.
I humbly beg for your mercy, that I can develop good qualities. To become a devotee, and understand how to serve and help others

Dear Beloved Gurudeva,
Please accept my most humble obeisances at your lotus feet on the auspicious occasion of your wonderful appearance day.
You are a very kind person, pulling me up from the deep well of Maya. Down, deep down in that horrible well, all I can see is a dot of light. You send down a rope for me down in that well to get out from that hell. You are always loving and caring to me. We are always in ignorance; our minds are always wandering here and there, thinking of nonsense.
Please bless us with your endless mercy so that we can also engage ourselves in the service of Sri Radha Golokhbihari.
Please forgive our offenses and allow us to remain in the shade of your lotus feet eternally.
Gurudev, you are the only shelter for us in this world.

In the eleventh canto of Srimad – Bhagavatam, third chapter, verse 21, Prabuddha tells Maharaja Nimi, “My dear king, please know for certain that in the material world there is no happiness. It is simply is full of nothing but miserable conditions. Any person who is seriously desirous of achieving real happiness must seek out a bona fide spiritual master and take shelter of him by initiation. So by taking shelter of you and taking second initiation I’m really happy. So congratulations on your Vyasa- puja day.

Dearest Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept our most humble obeisances at your lotus feet for the Vyasa Puja day. All glories to Srila Gurudeva.
The first time I saw you at Sri Sri Radha Vrindavan Chandra temple, I decided that I would accept you as my Guru. Before that I followed so many paths but never succeeded in any one of them. After joining the Hare Krishna movement and getting association of the devotees I was satisfied that I followed the correct path.
Please always give us your blessings so that we may always serve you, the devotees and Krsna.
Today we really feel happy to be a disciple of yours.

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept our obeisances at your lotus feet.
Also this year we are immensely happy to glorify Your Divine Grace. We feel so lucky, so blessed by you, but also unworthy. We want to do more and more, you make our life perfect, of course sometime we suffer and it is so difficult to carry on, but your love and mercy for us is always there, and we have no words to thank you Srila Gurudeva. You are our eternal guru, maybe we will take so many life times to go back home, but we don’t care about it, just we want to be your servants life after life, and help the people to reach Lord Sri Krsna.

Dear Bir Krsna Goswami Gurudeva,
Please accept my obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to your appearance day.
It is a bit difficult to find words in your honor. Not because you are not honorable, far from that, because you are most honorable. Simply it is all consuming to raise children and maintain all that is involved with them. We can only constantly pray that we do our service the right way. And that what we do is pleasing to the great Vaisnavas such as yourself. Please help us in making our community friendly in a real way so that these children also grow up with the desire to serve the devotees.

Dearest Gurudev,
Please accept my humble obeisance at your divine lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Gurudev, on this auspicious day we remember you and pray to Lord Krishna for your good health and long life. We pray for your safety.
Gurudev, you came in my life as a light of hope and glory. I was sleeping in the night of ignorance. I was drowning in the waves of material existence and you gave me the torch light of knowledge. Gurudev you changed my life by giving me Krishna consciousness. You gave me the most valuable treasure of chanting the holy names of Krishna. I enjoy your association during your visits to our center. I enjoy chanting of the holy names of Krishna in your association and I pray to Lord Caitanya and Lord Nitynanda for your good health and safety. I cannot find words to thank you Gurudev, for how much you have done for an unfortunate illusioned soul like me. I’m very grateful to you Gurudev for accepting me as your disciple. I promise to serve you with all my heart and soul in preaching Krsna consciousness. I pray to Srimati Radha Rani that I am able to have your association ever and always.
On this auspicious day we pray to Srila Prabhupada for his blessings.
Jay Gurudev! Jay Prabhupada!
” The world is full of miseries. In the night of ignorance, I was sleeping.Out of Krsna’s mercy you came as the sun and brightened my life with the holy names of Krsna, you gave me knowledge of who I am. Gurudev, you are the umbrella under which I take shelter. Like a little child I am holding the branch of your divine tree. I am miserable and full of faults without your association I am lost. I cannot stand up without your mercy. I will do my best to serve you ” By spreading Lord Caitanya’s movement of Krsna consciousness

My Dear Srila Gurudev,
Please accept my most humble Dandvat Pranams at the dust of your Divine lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and all glories to Your Divine Grace. All Glories to this most auspicious day of your appearance.
Srila Gurudev Ki Jaya!!!
Gurudev, forgive this fallen servant of yours, for making an attempt to glorify a personality like yours whose glories are unlimited. Yet I know if I send you an offering on this day, it will put a smile on your face since you know how materially and spiritually I am unqualified to even write an offering.
The little association I get while you are in Fiji, are memories I always relish, and your blessings are the wealth I am going to take with me when I leave this body, and I am confident these eternal assets of mine will put me ahead of millions of other jivas who are trying to reach Krishna by other means.
Apart from you Srila Gurudeva, there is no meaning in my life, and I pray to you on this very special day to allow me to be of some service to you eternally, since I haven’t done much in this life.
I pray to Sri Sri Radha Golokabihari to always keep you healthy so that you keep traveling and saving millions of fallen souls like mine.
Your fallen servant,

Please, accept my humble obeisances. All glories to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada.
Once again this is our excellent opportunity to express our deep gratitude to you for giving us an opportunity to serve His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada through your unflinching dedication to Lord Caitanya’s Krishna consciousness mission. Your opening of Sri Sri Radha Golokanand temple in NC has helped many souls to receive some taste of Krishana consciousness. When I am writing this offering I am hoping to be part of your VP celebration if Lord Sri Krishna will allow me to.
I pray Lord Sri Krishna whole-heartedly to grant you many more VP like this.

Dear Gurudeva,
I am thankful that I have had opportunity to meet you. The first time I met you, you were shining love for every living entity. It bewildered me because in the material world I have never felt love. And all my life I have looked for it. And year after year I am more bewildered, though your love is so selfless toward living entities. You are the well-wisher to every living entity.
Thank you that I could visit your temple. Thank you that I could do service for your Deities and thank you for realization for my own service and home altar. Thank you for the devotees with whom I have been and in future will be with. Thank you for my sister and her husband, they have supported me so much. Thank you for their love.
I fear the material world very much. Your are my rescue wheel, where I hang. I pray that I could surrender to your lotus feet. I pray that I could realize the meaning of initiation. Following only ones mind causes big trouble in the life.
Thank you for your love. Thank you for these years.
I wish you Happy Birthday and I wish that one day I could have your love returned.

My Dear-most Gurumaharajah,
Please accept my humblest obeisances on this most auspicious day. All glories to your most remarkable service.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada, who often reminded the devotees that anything that he had accomplished was due to the fact that he had taken the instruction of his Maharajah to heart and devoted his life to the instruction. And on Janmastami, you spoke about your determination to follow in your spiritual master’s footsteps. Since then, I have been remembering the many ways in which you have shown your determination to follow Srila Prabhupada’a example.
Early on, in the struggle to obtain the land in Juhu Beach, even Srila Prabhupada’s disciples did not entirely understand his determination to get a piece of land that, for them, appeared useless, out of the way, and unlivable. As they could not share Prabhupada’s vision for the future, some of them left. Now, of course, there is a thriving temple and ISKCON community there. Similarly, you described your coming to North Carolina and being determined to build a temple here despite the necessity to slog through the mud, live in cars, and many other inconveniences that you were willing to undergo when even some others could not take the conditions and had to leave. They could not share your vision, yet through your determination, an entire temple and ISKCON community is thriving in Hillsborough.
In 1967, Srila Prabhupada wrote to devotees who were lamenting his absence, “Krishna will give you strength. physical presence is immaterial; presence of the transcendental sound received from the spiritual master should be the guidance of life.” (Lilamrta: Vol. 5) Thus, he recorded his classes and bhajans so that we could continue to have his instructions. In the same way, you have recorded for us many, many classes and several (but not enough) bhajans, so that we may always be inspired by the transcendental sound vibration that you have provided. Without these valuable tapes, I, for one, would be lost, and I am sure that there are countless other current and future devotees who will reap the benefit of these inspiring sounds.
We all know that Srila Prabhupada was willing to travel to locations that were not conducive to his physical health; for the spreading of Krishna consciousness, he would go to unusual climates and travel great distances. In the same way, you travel from Fiji to Finland, suffer great heat and cold (what to speak of jet lag), and do it willingly to preach as instructed by your Gurumaharajah. You are unconcerned for the climate changes and your own comfort.
Now, in the face of great disaster, you have, as did Srila Prabhupada, cried for your God-brothers and disciples in danger, gone as immediately as possible to aid them in every possible way, and care for the homeless deities. You have, again, shown no thought for your own comfort, but traveled immediately and taken care of devotees.
These are but a few of the myriad ways your determination has resulted in so many devotees all over the world. Through your continued determination, you instruct and inspire us continually.
Therefore, on this Vyasa-Puja Day, I pray to absorb even one one-thousandth of your determination to serve your spiritual master in order that one day I may truly earn the name of disciple. I pray to remain . . .
in your service eternally,
Tungavidya devi dasi

Dear Gurdeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. All glories to Lord Caintanya Mahaprabhu.
In the Caintanya Caritamrta, Srila Prabhupada while discussing the glories of Haridas Thakura states, “One is recognized by the results of his actions. A spiritual master is recognized as an actual guru when it is seen that he has changed the character of his disciples.” This statement allows for anyone to examine whether or not there are bonafide gurus in this glorious movement of Srila Prabhupada. All over the world we can find people whose lives have been irrefutably changed and their characters improved upon contact with the devotees of Srila Prabhupada. I have seen personally here at New Goloka how the residents and servants of Sri-Sri Radha Golokananda have made great advancement in their spiritual lives by following in your footprints by dedicating their lives to the pleasure of Sri-Sri Radha Golokananda and Srila Prabhupada. We are indeed fortunate to have found shelter at your lotus feet, for here we are always safely situated at the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada.
You have many glorious qualities, but the one that stands out strongly amongst all others is your tireless dedication to Srila Prabhupada and his ISKCON movement. You are always ready to render service and to expand your level of commitment to the Vaisnavas and ISKCON. Whether it is taking up more responsibilities for the communities who have lost their dearly beloved guides or dealing with managerial concerns, you accept the service and increase your dedication to serving in separation. I pray that one day I may be blessed with even one drop of your dedication.

My dear spiritual master Srila Gurudev,
Please accept my most humble obeisances unto your lotus feet on the most blessed auspicious occasion of your Vyasapuja! All glories to Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga.
Srila Gurudeva, fortunate are those who come in contact with a bona fide spiritual master. Just like when iron comes in contact with fire, it takes the quality of fire, in the same way by associating with a bona fide spiritual master, a disciple becomes purified of all the impurities of material contamination. No one can progress in devotional service without satisfying the spiritual master. By the mercy of the spiritual master, the disciple is fully trained in the devotional service of the Lord.
Dear Srila Gurudev, I call you from my heart everyday, my dear father. You are the most intimate servant and faithful representative of Krsna. Please give me, this most ignorant child, your causeless mercy, completely take care of me, help me and give me power. Let me stay with you forever, serve you, and become a puppet in your lotus hand to spread Krsna consciousness.
I wish that you, Srila Gurudev, will be happy forever and that without any difficulty, you will continue to spread Krsna consciousness.
Jai Gurudeva!

Dear Gurudeva,
Please accept my worthless obeisances at Your Lotus Feet!
All glories to You Srila Gurudeva!!! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!!!
Dear Gurudeva, happy birthday to You!!! On this most auspicious occasion Your followers, admirers, friends and all those fortunate souls who have been in contact with You one way or in the other, are filled with overwhelming happiness and thankfulness. You have taken Srila Prabhupada’s transcendental saving-mission into Your loving hearth, in the full extent, and You have crystallized the meaning of unalloyed love for Krishna and all the living entities. Although the undersigned person is twisted like a corkscrew, one is proud to have such a wonderful Spiritual Master as You are, dear Gurudeva.
I will always cherish the memory of our initial meeting and how You found me. On that time year -98 You were in Stockholm, Sweden, when You also kindly decided to manifest Yourself first time in Helsinki-temple. Somehow it was possible for me to be there when You gave Sunday feast lecture. Even though the temple room was jam-full, I did not see anything else than Your form and heard anything else than Your speech. Everything You spoke, touched the inmost self. This was a really unusual experience. It was quite obvious that You are the best possible guide in spiritual life. After Your lecture You shifted amongst the audience and suddenly You appeared next to me and asked if I want to come to talk with You. This way You literally picked me up and finally initiated to the Krishna-consciousness process and worldwide spiritual revolution.
Dear Srila Gurudeva, I am praying for Your blessings that I would be able to mediate this ultimate good what You emanate, to those people that I have already met or will meet, directly or indirectly in this life, who not yet remember Krishna and that’s why we are suffering of manifold miseries in the material plane of existence.

Dear Srila Gurudeva.
Please accept my most humble obeisances in the dust of your divine
lotus feet, on this most auspicious day of your Vyasa-puja. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
The spiritual master is to be honored as much as the Supreme Lord,
because he is the most confidential servitor of the Lord. This is acknowledged in all the revealed scriptures and followed by all authorities. Therefore I offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of such a spiritual master, who is a bona fide representative of Sri Hari (Krsna) Sri Sri Gurv-astaka, 7.
The greatest source of my inspiration is to see your tireless dedication to spread Krsna consciousness around the world. Your deep qualities of compassion for all of us are really touching my heart. Your are totally ignoring your own needs in order to serve and help others advancing in Krsna consciousness.
Dear Gurdeva I’m so proud of being your disciple and I will always try my very best to please you. Please bless me so that I can continue to help you in your service to Srila Prabhupada.

My dear Maharaj,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
All glories, all glories to you on this most auspicious day of your Vyasa
Puja!
I am indeed, so much honored to be given the opportunity to glorify you, for glorifying you is a transcendental activity purifying for a
fallen conditioned soul like myself. Maharaj, just like when we want to worship mother Ganges, we take a palmful of her own waters, and offer in prayer to her, similarly what can I offer to you except to repeat the words of the Vedic literature of which you’re a pure representative.
Please forgive any shortcoming in my humble attempt to glorify you.
Prayers in Glorification of My Spiritual Mentor (For the spiritual master who is in the Vaishnava disciplic line from Lord Krishna.)
“At the Yogapitha [birthplace of Lord Caitanya, an incarnation of Lord Krishna] in Sri Mayapur in the spiritual abode of Navadvipa, Lord Gaurasundar [Lord Caitanya] is sitting on a jeweled throne. On His right is Lord Nityananda [incarnation of Lord Balarama, Krishna’s brother]; on His left is Sri Gadadhara [incarnation of Radharani]. In front with folded hands are Sri Advaita [incarnation of Lord Vishnu] and Srivasa [incarnation of NaradaMuni], who is holding an umbrella over Their heads. On a jeweled platform below Lord Gauranga’s, Srila Prabhupada is sitting.”
“O beloved spiritual teacher, you are always in the presence of the cowherd girl Radha, the daughter of King Vrishabhanu. Please award me service at your lotus-like feet, which are the proprietors of devotional service. Please place me in the ocean of joy by bestowing upon me happiness in the mellows of service at the feet of Sri Radha in the groves of Vraja Dhama.”
“I offer my respectful obeisances unto my spiritual guardian, the deliverer of the fallen souls. Your mercy turns the dumb into eloquent speakers and enables the lame to cross mountains.”
“I offer my respectful obeisances unto dear spiritual guide, who is opening my eyes, which are blinded by the darkness of ignorance, with the torchlight of knowledge.”
“O spiritual master, I continually offer my obeisances unto you, who are always in the presence of Srimati Radharani and very much devoted to Her. You always reside in the association of Her confidantes, the gopis, and you are the abode of loving devotion to Krishna.”
“I bow down to the beautiful lotus feet of my spiritual mentor, by whose causeless mercy I have obtained the supreme holy name, the divine mantra, the service of the son of Saci Mata [Lord Caitanya], the association of Srila Svarupa Damodara, Rupa Gosvami, and his older brother Sanatana Gosvami, the supreme abode of Mathura, the blissful abode of Vrindavana, the divine Radha Kunda and Govardhana Hill, and the desire within my heart for the loving service of Sri Radhika and Madhava [Krishna] in Vrindavana.”
“O Vaisnava Thakura, O giver of divine wisdom, O friend of the fallen, you are the giver of your own bliss and you are the only ocean of mercy. Although dwelling in Vrindavana, you have descended for the welfare of fallen souls like myself, and you are preaching the divine love of Radha for Krishna. Please be kind upon me.”
“I am a tiny part and parcel of the Supreme Lord and I am always and in every way His eternal servant. As I am always hoping for His mercy and kindness, I offer myself to His most dear servitor, Your Holiness.”
“I offer my respectful obeisances unto Your Holiness, who is a Vaisnava devotee of the Lord. You are like the desire tree who can fulfill the desires of everyone and are full of compassion for the fallen conditioned souls.”
I beg to remain your humble servant with love,

My dear father Bir Krisna Goswami,
Please accept my humbly obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
All glories to this very auspicious day of your appearance in this world!
In my attempts to express the meaning of your appearance in this world, I can only say what I know about you:
You are the most precious gift to me
Your words are so warm and encouraging
You are so passionate and full of love and understanding
You are the pure mercy of Krishna to all of us.
You shine like the sun and lighten up our lives.
From the first moment I realized your presents in this world, I became the most happy person in the world and received your causeless mercy and fortune to become your disciple.
Me, the most fallen person, lost in this world of material suffering, saw the shining light in your word and your personality. Dear father, how happy I was when you visited Serbia, I just wanted to stand close and absorb every one of your words. I was so happy when I got the chance to do some small service for you. You often say that the disciple has to always ask what does his Guru expect from him, and I very often ask my self about it. You always encourage me, and understand me, so I wish that I could be better and become the instrument in your hands. I wish to have the opportunity to serve you forever. Thank you for everything!
I wish that I could do something nice for you.
I am wishing you all the best, to always have your shining smile at your lotus face!

Dear Gurudeva,
Please accept my most sincere and humble obeisance at the dust of your divine lotus feet. All glories to your divine grace on this most blessed day of your appearance in this world.
Srila Gurudeva, I remember a time I saw you and how you extended your mercy so kindly unto me. You have such a great heart that every disciple has a certain place in you to whom you always pay special attention. I am very fortunate to be your disciple as I got initiated this year. I was very determined to become your disciple as soon as possible. When I got the opportunity I agreed at once.
You came for breakfast at my house and you encouraged me more to take initiation. That time I was extremely happy. I was a bit nervous before the initiation ceremony but afterwards every thing became normal. You gave me such a beautiful and powerful name ‘Vrinda’. Vrinda is Tulasi’s second name and Vrindavan forest is also named after Vrinda.
After initiation the devotees congratulated me and my family was also very proud of me. While giving ‘Brahman diksa’ in the Guru Nivasa, you encouraged me spiritually and materially to become a doctor. I am doing my level best in my studies and at the same time rendering service to Sri Sri Radha Vrindavan Chandra and the Labasa devotees. Before doing Aroti on the altar I was a bit scared but now I am looking forward to do that in front of you.
The boat in which the Labasa devotees are traveling is accelerating at its optimum level and will very soon reach its destination by your arrival to Labasa. The devotees are planning something beyond expectation for your Vyasa Puja and are saying it will be more like a Diwali night.
Please Gurudeva, throne in splendors, come and be with us in Labasa to awaken many sleeping souls. I am unable to express my gratitude by words and will never be able to pay off my debts. I will always be your debtor and I pray to be your servant till the end of my life. I am praying to Krishna to always carry my heart in your instructions and never fail to follow them even in times of great difficulties.
All glories to Srila Gurudeva. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Happy Vyasa Puja.

en su viasa puja con humildad este hermoso verso.
tasya tvam tamaso n’dnasya

sac-caksur janmanam ante
labdham me tvad-anugrahat
