New Goloka

is a very beautiful spiritual ashrama in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Its pure, soothing atmospere attracts visitors from far and wide. Peaceful surrounding of forest and flower garden is just suitable for deep relaxation and spiritual practice of meditation and cultivation of bhakti-yoga.

The temple was built in 1984 by HH Bir Krishna das Goswami and a few other devotees who helped him. Gradually they built also other buldings around. This whole  project is his offering of love to his beloved spiritual master, A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami – Srila Prabhupada, and remains his headquarters, where he always returns from his worlds’ travels.

The temple is also the site of many wonderful spiritual festivals at which large numbers of devotees and guests assemble to chant and glorify the Lord in great happiness.
